We were grateful the host allowed us to check in a day early. Once you're there the location is great! So much of historic Coimbra is within walking didtance. It was helpful when the host told us about where to park. You cannot drive to the apartment (We spent about an hour going round with google maps before we opted to go directly to the parking lot.) We parked and walked. It is a walk only street... That noted, once we got there we were happy to arrive at this third floor accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed walking central Coimbra.

Awesome place to stay. What a great little apartment. It was so clean and comfortable and had everything to make one’s stay so pleasurable. The location was fantastic which made it so easy to walk around, find a place to eat, see the sights, enjoy a nice drink, or just be among the vibrancy of the community. The communication with the host was very good. A great great choice to stay!!!

We loved this charming Coimbra apartment. Located on one of the main commercial pedestrian thoroughfares, with many wonderful restaurants and cafes nearby. From the apartment Coimbra University was minutes away on foot and a short distance from the main bus and train terminals.

Located right on the main walking street, able to go up to the university or down to the river. The space was comfortable, very good water pressure and a nice view of the roof tops.
You do need to save some energy to climb to the top floor, not an issue for us.
Love having the washer available to clean clothes.
Contact host to find out meeting point and then get led to the unit. It worked ok.
