Clean and convenient cottage.
Well located, comfortable beds and was very clean.
Twin room access stairs very steep and narrow. Hard to seat 4 people round the breakfast bar. We were a family of 5 and felt the house was too small, house better suited for a couple.

Good location and was as advertised. Support from the host was also good when we experienced a leak from the shower room.
Windows were unclean. Cobwebs covering every corner of the rooms. Cleanliness was all round okay, but was a distinct smell of damp. First Air Bnb I’ve stopped at without any form of care package. Bottle of water or tea bags would have been nice. Also never been requested to seek out bed sheet bags from underneath the kitchen sink before (they weren’t there). Received an extensive rule checklist (via text) which I thought was a bit much.

Unfortunately our team refused to stay there further due to the boarded up houses around the location which was not secure, no secure parking, no heating and filthy kitchen pans and cooker. I was left with no alternative but to book them alternative accommodation today. We would like to request a refund please for the further Tue to Fri nights that I have had to book elsewhere at considerable cost and we will not be re-booking for next week as requested by Aqua to pay directly.

Beautiful accommodation steps to bedrooms a bit steep but the beds were so comfortable the best we have ever slept in would highly recommend this property.

A good base
I liked how easy it was to access the surrounding areas. It was a good base that wasn't far away from supermarkets or sights to see. The beds were comfy and the facilities easy to use/access. Not one for those with mobility or balance issues due to the steep stairs, but otherwise ok!
It wasn't as dog friendly as we thought. The private garden is accessed by a shared path (with an external door leading straight to the main road) and then up a set of steps. Not great for wandering pets or dogs that like to rush up or down steps. We closed the shared door when we first came in, and it was shortly opened by a neighbour.. we didn't use the garden much since then as to not be a bother. Our only other issue was the signs of damp by the back door and by the toilet.
