About this cottage rental
This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, single story home has a large front yard with an outdoor shower and is ½ mile walking distance to the beach! (exit 9A – mid-Cape). Great for a big family (four-legged friends welcome, too!) the “Blue Heron,” comfortably sleeps 6-8 people: bedroom 1 has 2 twin beds; bedroom 2 has 1 full sized bed & 1 twin; bedroom 3 has a queen bed & one twin. Not only a quick walk to the beach, the house is also conveniently located in Dennis Port center with endless shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, and the Cape’s best happy hours at your fingertips - to name a few: The Oyster Company, Original Seafood, The Red Nun, Sundae School, the famous, seaside Ocean House Tiki Bar… no need to drive anywhere!
This house fully equipped with a gas grill for BBQ activities, kitchen full with pots, pans, plates, bowls, & serving platters – you name it, it’s here!
Bath towels, pillows, & comforters provided; only things you’ll need to bring are your linens, beach towels, beach chairs & bathing suits!
Dennis is home to 18 gorgeous Cape Cod beaches, our local favorite Sea Street Beach is a short 10-minute walk with direct beach ½ mile from the front door to Depot Street Beach.

What about a quick trip to the island? The Harwich Port-Nantucket ferry is just down the road.

6 of us ( my husband and 2 kids and my parents) and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved that there was so much space to put away our things. We loved the yard! The location was perfect. The house is decorated so nice and it’s very easy to feel at home there. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our week at the Cape - the house is clean, spacious and in a very convenient location - walking distance to the beach in one direction and to Rory's market, stores and restaurants in the other direction. Easy bike ride to get on the rail trail as well.
We recommend Rory's for smoothies and breakfast as well as supplies!

Very clean and neat. Plenty of open room to have multiple people hanging around for conversation. Nice deck in the front with plenty of yard space. Best thing was we were able to bring our dog and there was a dog run.

The cottage was not cleaned to the standards I'm used to. Especially with COVID. I addressed my concerns with Kevin. When leaving the cottage I used his vacuum cleaner, which would be more efficient if the cleaner just cleaned out the bag.
