Lovely space, well kitted out, just remember the extra fee for bedding (in cash!)

We enjoyed a beautiful apartment

Getting the chance to live in an attic apartment where the owner is a carpenter is spectacular. The apartment was just beautiful. I fell asleep in the swinging chair. The kitchen furniture was all tailor made. Never saw something like this. The host was very nice. We communicated via phone and messenger. the host just wanted to make sure that we got everything what we need. We were allowed to lock up our bicycles at the garage of the owner.

Strangely enough, Enkirch was very quiet in the evening. I knew the place from its wines - so I expected a bit of more life. However, this is of cause not a drawback to the accommodation itself.

Add the linen service fees before booking

The flat is nicely built with a great balcony view of the mountains, and it would be very nice during the winter with fireplace on. The town is also very charming next to the river.

1. I only noticed much later from the previous reviews that almost 40 euros more for 5 people (2 adults + 3 kids) will be charged to have the linen, although it is stated in the facility list with small letters, and I guess most of the guests would miss that while booking, not nice feeling about it. 2. The flat located on the top floor, with all tilted roof, it becomes very hot in the summer, even with 3 ventilators, it still feels like a big oven. 3. Two rooms share one passage which we gave to kids, but if any of them went to toilet, we all got disturbed, because the toilet is next to the third (our) room as well. 4. There were no curtains in one of the kid's rooms, although the host came, but could not find them, so we had to use aluminium foil to darken the room. 5. The shower head completely fell off, but we only noticed when we showed the first kid, got splashed everywhere and in the end we all had to take a shower just with a hose, although the host came for this reason as well, it was too late to fix it. 6. The host is living downstairs which is convenient, however, when we finally got a bit chill time on the balcony in the evening, the host was calling very loud and long on their balcony, so we had to move back to our very hot flat again for some quiet time. All in all, not a good stay with some unfortunate circumstances happened at the same time, but most of them could be avoided.

Very comfortable, spacious and extremely well appointed short-term rental

Very spacious and well appointed apartment - perfect for our family of 5. We have stayed at 3 different apartments during our summer holiday, and this was by far the most comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but we will be back for a longer stay!

Bed linen was not included in the price and we didn't see this before we booked. However, we were very happy with the host's solution, and the beds were made up when we arrived.

New, spacious, family-friendly apartment

The accommodation exceeded our expectations! It definitely has a WOW-factor with the views from the windows and the balcony, is spacious, looked impeccable and has a lot of storage in each room. Everything looked spotless and pretty much brand new. All the appliances are available and Steffi has provided a whole cupboard full of children's toys. Communication with Steffi and Torsten was easy and we enjoyed the bottle of local Riesling we were welcomed with.

There was a bit of road noise and as the property is on the top floor you do need to go up two flights of stairs, but this is only a minor inconvenience and definitely would not stop us from going back there again.

No tuvimos suerte,limpieza a juicio

Ubicación excelente,al lado del rio. Apartamento muy amplio,con 3 dormitorios enormes,cocina totalmente equipada. Zona muy tranquila,total relax.

La estancia se vio empañada porque yo soy un maníaco de la limpieza,y porque tuvimos con nosotros una tremenda tarántula en el baño,que no era normal,y para mis dos hijos que son ultra mega miedosos de todos los insectos,os podéis imaginar como fue la estancia. Empezé a mirar por debajo de las camas y la limpieza dejaba mucho que desear,habían telarañas por todos los lados. Mis hijos no querían abrir ninguna ventana,porque tenían miedo de que pudiesen entrar cualquier insecto,imaginaros en pleno agosto,tuvimos dos días a 37°. Solo tenía un cuarto de baño. Creo que tuvimos mala suerte con la tarántula,pero si que es verdad que la señora de la limpieza,si se puede llamar así,tendría que hacérselo mirar,o la dueña tendría que hablar con ella,me extraña que nadie diga nada de la limpieza en todos los comentarios que he leído.

Insgesamt eine schöne, geräumige und gemütliche Unterkunft – sowohl für einen Zwischenstopp als auch für einen längeren

Wir haben auf dem Rückweg aus dem Urlaub hier übernachtet. Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und geräumig – super für eine Familie. Alles, was man zum Kochen braucht, ist da, und den Grill auf der Terrasse haben wir gerne genutzt. Parkplatz und unser Hund waren kostenlos dabei.

Ein kleiner Nachteil: Der Gastgeber bittet, den Müll zu trennen und selbst rauszubringen – an sich kein Problem, aber wir haben die gelbe und braune Tonne sowie die Glascontainer in der Nähe leider nicht gefunden, was etwas stressig war. Bettwäsche und Handtücher kosten extra, aber das steht in der Beschreibung der Unterkunft.

Sehr gute Lage, Parkplatz direkt in der Nähe der Unterkunft. FeWo ist stilvoll und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nix.

Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren 🥰 - ab und zu hing das Internet Aber wir waren ja da, um die schöne Moselregion zu erleben.
