The perfect place in Bernkastel

I really liked the apartment and location which was perfect with great views of the river from the front, and from our balcony faced the back vines and hills. It was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole apartment was much better then the pictures. The one we stayed in had good bedding facilities if there were more than one couple - fold down beds from a cupboard in the living room and another fold out couch within a sitting room. Nothing was cramped in at all with space surrounding sitting areas and a brilliant long table for dinners and drinks in the living room.

I didn’t like that when we arrived we couldn’t find it that easily. I could see the number from the street but it had no signage at the main gate, and of the buttons and letterboxes or even the entryway to the group of apartments. It was also confusing which apartment we were in as there was no one to greet us originally and no names or information on a door and they also hadn’t responded to me messages over Booking.com. The phone number noted on here is also apparently no longer in use so luckily we bumped into other people staying within another apartment who had the correct number and called them for us. Besides that they were friendly but I know if that was my parents or people who aren’t comfortable with just walking about in an unknown area or can’t ask for help they would have booked other accommodation as honestly beforehand there was no communication. We also had to pay 5€ per set of towels which I wasn’t aware of beforehand.

A very confortable, clean and well placed appartment. Everything was impeccable. Amazing view.

Appartement met uitzicht op zowel heuvels als de Moezel!

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. De keukeninventaris is zeer uitgebreid, de woonkamer is comfortabel en de badkamer is ruim. Je staat zo in het kleine, maar mooie centrum van Bernkastel met winkels en restaurants. Tegenover het huis is de aanlegplaats voor de rondvaartboot.

De instructies hoe je de sleutel krijgt, waren heel duidelijk, maar het sleutelkastje ging gewoonweg niet open, waarschijnlijk door het vochtige weer bleef het kastje klemmen. Nooit leuk (zelfs irritant) als je een reis achter de rug hebt en graag naar binnen wilt. Maar na een telefoontje kwam er snel iemand om te helpen.

Toll gelegene und gut ausgestattete Wohnung

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Nur über die Straße bis zur Mosel und den Ausflugsdampfern. Direkt an der Altstadt gelegen. Große Wohnung mit zusätzlichem Badezimmer. Schöner Außenbereich mit Grill und Sitzmöbeln.

Bei einer Erdgeschoßwohnung hatte ich keine Treppen erwartet. Vom Parkplatz aus geht es durch den Garten mit insgesamt ca. 20 Stufen. Davon ca. 15 runter und ca. 5 rauf. 1 Stufe zum Hausflur. Um auf die Straße zu gelangen, geht es 40 Stufen nach unten. Die muss man nach dem Tagesausflug natürlich auch wieder rauf.

Es hat uns gefallen und wir würden dort nochmals buchen.

Toplage mit eigenem Parkplatz. Nach vorne raus Moselblick und nach hinten Blick auf die Weinberge. Geräumige Altbauwohnung mit guter Ausstattung.

Verbesserungsfähig sind jedoch die Betten. Die Matratzen waren nach meinem Empfinden zu niedrig für das Bettgestell, so daß das Aussteigen ein schmerzhafter Kletterakt war.

Gestört haben uns nur Kleinigkeiten. Wir haben uns in den 5 Tagen dort wohlgefühlt.

Blick auf die Mosel vom Frühstückstisch aus. 2 Badezimmer Genug Handtücher und Toilettenpapier Die Heizung ging schon.

Der Geschirrspüler war defekt und bei genauer Betrachtung auch nicht erst seit unserem Besuch. Die Beleuchtung des Abzuges über dem Herd war defekt. Einzige Lichtquelle im Küchenbereich. Der Wasserhahn in der Spüle tropfte, im größeren Bad sind Leuchten teilweise defekt. Eine Stehlampe zerlegt sich selbst. An der Wohnzimmer Tür um die Klinke herum leider dreckig. Alles im Charme der 70 Jahre.
