Amazing location with garage, spacious apartment with steep steps inside house!!
Very spacious apartment with plenty of space to spread out. Amazing location - right in the centre of Bern-Kastel and with garage which is very helpful in that part of town. Nice roof-top terrace. Owner was very helpful ahead of us arriving.
The steps in the building are very steep which was fine for us, but might be difficult for more elderly or those with very young children. The layout is a bit confusing but of course we got used to it! Kitchen is a bit cramped so you can't have more than one person in there at any time!

Very pleasant stay
The house is located extremely close to the city center of Bernkastel. There are a few restaurants very close, and the bakery and supermarket are also reachable in walking distance. This is a three-story house. The kitchen is located at the ground floor, while the bedrooms are at the first and second floor. There are two separate bathrooms with showers, which is nice to have when you are travelling with a larger group (we were two families with three children). The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, a toaster, a water boiler, a microwave, a stove with an oven and a dishwasher. There is also a nice terrace, where you can spend nice evenings drinking good Mosel wine, but it is located in an auxiliar part of the house, and there are a lot of stairs to get there. The communication with the host worked very good, and he did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The house is very nice, but the stairs are narrow and steep (it is an old Mosel house) - especially with small children you have to take care. The pillows were not very comfortable.

We were blessed with great weather very hot. The bedrooms would benefit with fan, This is the only negative as it was difficult to sleep.

De woning had een muffe geur, de keuken was donker en gaf een teleurstellend zicht omdat je op een trap zat te kijken, het terras was geen meerwaarde en moeilijk bereikbaar evenals de fitnessruimte die een verwaarloosde ruimte was
