Very interesting city, disappointing accommodation.

location great. patio, home theater, and jacuzzi (if it had been clean) great

First and foremost, cleaniness needs to improve! There was a very noticeable ring of dirt in the jacuzzi. We bought lysol cleaner and scrubbed out the tub ourselves...it led us to wonder whether the tub had been properly rinsed and cleaned before our stay, Jacuzzis are notorious homes for bacteria and pathogens. There was an ashtray full of smoked cigarettes in the ash tray on the patio table filled with tobacco soaked water, not an enticing sight when we arrived first viewed the patio space. Worst was the dust! My wife has a dust allergy and became extremely allergic during our stay, hacking and coughing when we were in the room. We finally realized after glancing under the bed that it had been some time since the floor )at least, under the bed) had been properly vacuumed/cleaned. The hand towels smelled dirty, not fresh. The Jacuzzi is perhaps overly complicated and it appeared to malfunction. It turned on without warning a couple of times, the first time after I used it some of the jets expelled dirt and water for 5 seconds or so. We jumped up out of the bed not knowing what was going on. The next day when my wife tried it out, not as a jacuzzi but just as normal a bath, she was startled when cold water shot out of the jets and would not turn off despite my efforts to do so using the touch screen. After about 30 seconds it turned off on its own. If the place had been cleaned properly, I would have rated the room and our stay much more highly.

Great location for town, beach and castle. Very clean and nicely styled. Comfortable bed. Didn't use the cinema screen as couldn't work out how but prefer not to watch TV so no problem. Also not a problem for us but, owner might like to close their blinds so that guests feel more private in the courtyard.

Déjeuner à base de poisson, après-midi à la plage, soirée en amoureux...

Le home cinéma, la balnéo, l'emplacement (proche de tout : centre ville, plage, château...) et par dessus tout la gentillesse de l'hôte !

Dans la vie tout est perfectible... mais pour nous la Suite Melody à Dieppe a été juste parfaite !
