This spacious log home provides picturesque views of the creek from every room (Note Smith Creek is a wet weather creek). Evenings can be spent relaxing under the stars in a private hot tub just outside the back door. With 2 bedrooms 1 bath, Falls Log Home will sleep 4 comfortably. Falls Log Home is only minutes away from the Wimberley town square but offers the seclusion of your own private hill country escape.
Guests will find Falls Log Cabin warm and inviting with rustic hill country decor. This log home offers all the amenities one could wish for or need for a family getaway. Enjoy the beautiful knotty pine ceiling, stately limestone rock wood burning fireplace, hardwood flooring and a fully stocked kitchen with everything one needs to prepare favorite meals. Cozy up on the sofa and watch your favorite movie on the flat screen television or enjoy a romantic evening by the fireplace. Shower in a full bath with a large vanity. Sleep soundly in the master bedroom that hosts a comfy king size bed with lovely linens. Guests will find the second bedroom offers a queen bed with comfortable linens. This is our third time using Hill Country Premier Lodging and we once again enjoyed it. My husband and I plus our 12 year old stayed in the Falls Cabin property. First, the reservation process was super simple and the property photos and overview were spot on. The cabin was adorable, clean and plenty of space for my family. We enjoyed the fire pit (there were two logs already here for us) and the hot tub which was very clean. The property has two other cabins but there's still plenty of space for everyone. You get a beautiful view of Smith Creek and because the area received rain prior to our arrival we also enjoyed the waterfall. Please note in the property information it does state the creek is weather dependent so if the area is in a drought there won't be water in it. The property location could not have been any better, 5 minutes from Wimberley Square, 10 minutes from the Cypress Water Hole and 10 minutes from Wimberley National. The list of chores prior to leaving was simple and I don't believe that asked too much like some other properties. Overall, it was a relaxing much needed weekend for our family and having such a great place to stay truly made it special for us.

Such a beautiful place I went on my own to just check in and heal, just grieving Every spot was perfect! The view was amazing, waterfall was soothing, the hot tub was perfect, it rained but no thunderstorms so I was able to just be outdoors, took some food and was able to cook perfectly, the bed was so comfortable, shower and bathroom super clean, lighting was good, hamac super comfortable, it was all so so cleanEverything was so calm and just beautiful Just what I needed The colors and decoration was very unique I wish I was still there 2 nights was not enough I loved it and I feel better

We loved everything about our stay. The hot tube was great. The cabin is located in a wonderful place. It’s close to Wimberley, San Marcus, Driftwood, etc. The cabin has a large deck to relax on after being out all day. The beds were really comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here for our 26th anniversary. The cabin itself is beautiful — a charming log cabin that is nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean inside. It has a lot of character and could have been a wonderful anniversary getaway.Unfortunately, two major issues really affected our stay. First, the listing gives the impression that the cabin sits on a creek with a beautiful waterfall. I understand the area may be in a drought, but there was no flowing creek, no waterfall, and really no water feature at all other than a small area of stagnant green water with mosquitoes. Since the creek and waterfall are such a big part of the appeal shown in the listing, I feel the current condition should be clearly disclosed.Second, and much more concerning, there was a serious mouse problem. We did not just see “signs” of mice — we saw mice openly running around inside the cabin like they owned the place. That is not acceptable in a rental property, especially during a special anniversary trip.Overall, the cabin itself is beautiful and has potential, but the listing needs to be more transparent about the creek/waterfall, and the mouse issue needs to be fully addressed.
