All together it was a nice house, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location, but a little updating is needed.

Great location

The beds were so old and uncomfortable. It was so bad I could not stay there the second night. It was also a little creepy with the cat pictures on the wall, the stuffed animals all over and the comforters on both beds looked very cheap. I’m so sorry to have to say this because everything else was great.

A return visit to a place I've visited many times. Did not disappoint.

We took items for breakfast at Miss Lilian's House but when we did go to the Wimberley Cafe, the food was good, timely and the lady serving us was delightful.

I was a bit disappointed that one or two of the shops had lowered their standards. Other than that, we were not disappointed.

Not horrible but could be better.

It could be a nice place to stay for a small family or group of friends but needs a few upgrades first The house was well stocked. The wildlife in the yard was nice.

No privacy in the master bedroom, the bi-fold doors are not suited for a bedroom and do not close completely. Really old mattress that was hard and the loudest creaking bed I have ever heard. Not a good night's sleep.

The host was wonderful, let us do an early check in. The house was very comfortable, loved the amenities and little details like so many different kinds of coffee and tea, family games, beach towels and folding chairs to visit the river, etc. Beds were comfortable, showers were great. We loved watching deer and birds eat and drink water in the morning…what a treat! We’ll come back!

Lovely little stay

The location is amazing. There is plenty of room for family privacy and for kids to play, but also less than a 4 min walk to town. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices and coffee. It was all very clean. I'd have no problem staying here again.

The main bedroom doesn't have a lock on the door, which isn't huge, but it can be an inconvenience. There was a very faint "off" smell upon entering, but it went away quickly. We were charged extra for additional children (which we expected), however, there were no extra blankets or pillows.

We'd do it again!

Very clean and relaxing.

Better instructions on password wi-fi sign in. Words upper case, spaces required between words, etc. What to do with bedding. Conflicting instructions between info sent to renter and the binder in the cottage. State what kind of coffee brewing appliance is provided.

The property was spacious and conveniently located. It had most of the amenities that we needed. There were plenty of towels, and enough room for the family to run around.

When we arrived, the Wifi wasn't working, and didn't get repaired for over 2 hours. Since we were only staying overnight, this is a significant chunk of time. Although booking.com listed the property at $99 a night, the additional fees far exceeded the listing price, so it was more than double the listing. This I found deceptive.

Undoubtedly the best part was the location, everything is walking distance and easy to get to.

The kitchen could use some additional items to make cooking easier, a cutting board and better knives would have been helpful.

Great property/location, but Booking.com incorrectly listed the property as having 3 BR instead of 2

The location could not have been better and we were very excited to be able to walk into town in just a few minutes. We had a lovely time in the house itself just visiting, but also visited some local wineries which were only a few miles away and were able to buy our own food and drink from the HEB grocery store just a few minutes up the road.

Booking.Com explicitly listed the property as having 3 bedrooms and that was what we required for the visit. There were 2 of our 4 guests staying together in one room and the other 2 guests wanted their own rooms and privacy. As it was too late to cancel once we got there and there were only 2 bedrooms, we had to make do. The listing should list the house as only having 2 bedrooms so that unsuspecting guests are not disappointed as we were.
