Evenings can be spent relaxing under the stars in a private hot tub just outside the back door. With 2 bedrooms 1 bath, Falls Log Home will sleep 4 comfortably. Falls Log Home is only minutes away from the Wimberley town square but offers the seclusion of your own private hill country escape.
Guests will find Falls Log Cabin warm and inviting with rustic hill country decor. This log home offers all the amenities one could wish for or need for a family getaway. Enjoy the beautiful knotty pine ceiling, stately limestone rock wood burning fireplace, hardwood flooring and a fully stocked kitchen with everything one needs to prepare favorite meals. Cozy up on the sofa and watch your favorite movie on the flat screen television or enjoy a romantic evening by the fireplace. Shower in a full bath with a large vanity. Sleep soundly in the master bedroom that hosts a comfy king size bed with lovely linens. Guests will find the second bedroom offers a queen bed with comfortable linens. We had a girl's weekend and it was very relaxing! The cabin was clean and the beds were comfy. The hot tub was wonderful! The cabin could use some updating but it was a nice getaway. I think it may be time to take down the waterfall and creek picture on the VRBO listing. That creek has been dry for some time as trees were growing in the middle! If you are booking for the water, it is bone dry. If you just want a relaxing cabin in nature, this one is great!

My wife and I stayed here for our 26th anniversary. The cabin itself is beautiful — a charming log cabin that is nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean inside. It has a lot of character and could have been a wonderful anniversary getaway.Unfortunately, two major issues really affected our stay. First, the listing gives the impression that the cabin sits on a creek with a beautiful waterfall. I understand the area may be in a drought, but there was no flowing creek, no waterfall, and really no water feature at all other than a small area of stagnant green water with mosquitoes. Since the creek and waterfall are such a big part of the appeal shown in the listing, I feel the current condition should be clearly disclosed.Second, and much more concerning, there was a serious mouse problem. We did not just see “signs” of mice — we saw mice openly running around inside the cabin like they owned the place. That is not acceptable in a rental property, especially during a special anniversary trip.Overall, the cabin itself is beautiful and has potential, but the listing needs to be more transparent about the creek/waterfall, and the mouse issue needs to be fully addressed.
