A quiet retreat in a stormy Swanage.

The property was clean, comfortable and warm with everything you need to make it a home from home that catered for all ages. Location was excellent with all amenities close by I highly recommend a stay at this delightful property.

Some items for cooking needed a quick wash before use otherwise ok.

Quiet location, close to the beach & the high street everything you want in a holiday

The location of the property is perfect. A very short walking distance takes you to the beach front & the high street is just beside the beach , so everything is within walking distance.. The Swanage steam train is also only a short walk away from the property. The road was quiet all in all an excellent stay. We liked it so much we have booked to stay for xmas this year

The property was clean and comfortable.

I repeatedly (3 times) requested some information via Booking.com messages prior to arrival, but never received an answer from Sykes Cottages.

Lovely quiet apartment

Lovely quiet area with off street parking, walking distance to all amenities and close links to the coastal path and other tourist attractions.

Double room the en suite bathroom door squeaks which wakes the other person in the night. Pillows thin and flat.

good location and easy to get everywhere we wanted to go as it was in walking distance. Had everything we needed. Good security. Very quiet area.

Good

The location was fine. The flat was quite spacious and very clean. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen amenities were good. Overall very nice accommodation. Great to have our own parking space. Were it not for the issues mentioned above we would have rated it higher and it would have been value for money.

The walk-in shower was scalding hot and unusable. This was important as one of our party has a mobility difficulty so couldn't use the other shower/bath. There was a problem with the ensuite toilet - it kept flushing and then developed a leak. We had to put towels down to contain the water. These problems were fixed on day four of the holiday as getting a plumber out in time over a weekend appeared impossible. So we didn't have the facilities we paid for and we had some disruption and stress. The staff were however very helpful in getting these issues resolved.

We enjoyed the break and the location

The property was self catering which is what we prefer. It was close to the beach and town. The property had off street parking and the area was quiet. If we return to Swanage again we would be interested in renting the property again

Great location. The flat itself is very comfortable.

5pm checkin was a surprise. I’ve never seen anything passed 2pm before. 5pm checkin and 10am check out , feels like we lost a day of our trip. I appreciate the extra time for cleaning due to Covid but 5pm was way too late.
