Rivendell Holiday Studios & Suite

Most everything was great. Coffee, tea, biscuits, and sweets too at the front entrance, milk in the fridge. Spare bedding for pullout bed explained and perfectly organised - everything was just as we needed.

Only things we struggled a little with were the temperatures int he night - being quite warm at the top of the building, the sound was quite loud coming from the streets but had to have the window open. It might be good to offer ear plugs for number of people staying, something I’ve experienced in the guest houses - along with a little heads up about the street sounds in the night. We did have fans available and that was explained to us at check-in, ?(in case the blind-casings were too loud when they banged from the wind) but the fans weren’t great quality so the sound of them rattling at night again was a bit of trouble. Otherwise everything else was list perfect for us.

A beautiful bright suite and very clean. A nice touch with tea, coffee and biscuits in suite. Close to beach and town.

Quiet at night, large double bed, 2 chairs in snug. TV in snug and bedroom. Very clean, luxury finish everywhere. Option for breakfast hamper delivery to the door. Close to the train station, town and beaches. Hosts let us drop off our luggage early and freshen up so we could explore the town.

It didn't matter to us but maybe, out of season, Netflix would have been nice. Room for Roku or fire stick though.

Great location, lovely house with character. Facilities are great.
