Perfect location for the town and parking space was big enough for our Renault Kadjar.
The bed was super comfortable and an ideal cottage for 2 people.
Nice underfloor heating in the kitchen, shower was great.
Communication was exceptional, I had reason to contact before my stay but never waited more than 1-2 hours to hear back.
The TV signal was poor and we couldn't watch anything after day 1, this didn't bother us though as after a day of hiking or exploring we rested on the comfy bed before heading out into town during the evenings.

Great location within Ambleside right at the base of the road upto the Struggle.
Lots of books to read.
The property was very nicely decorated, and good wifi with a smart tv.
Whilst there is a carpark space, and it wasn't a problem for our car, it would be tight if you had a larger vehicle.
There was a little bit of road noise if you are a light sleeper, so pack ear plugs.

We were not given a box code to get the keys, but rang on arrival, and got the code directly form the property manager instantly on return of leaving a message
