Nice and quiet and comfortable!

Not very clean. Opening windows wouldn’t close and were draughty. Taps were very stiff in downstairs toilets, including the shower knob! I bout some light oil to loosen the taps and ease tge squeaking door hinges! Settee & chairs should be replaced since they’re dirty and thread bare!! The drive must be attended to. Our 90yrs old friend tripped on the broken surface and fell. She hurt herself on both knees and slashed her thumb.

The lay out , cleanliness

Driveway slightly awkward as wall jutting out especially at night

The drive was very tricky to use. Slope and twisted with a raised lump where it joined the pathway liable to damage a heavily loaded car. I decided not to risk it. Not shown in pictures.

A very nice clean property with good facilities and a nice garden.

It was advertised as a bungalow. Other reviews led us to wonder if there were a few steps and how difficult it would be as two of our party have mobility problems. So we emailed the owners both through booking.com and through Sykes cottages but no reply was ever received. This is NOT a bungalow. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs and this caused considerable problems. If you are looking for a bungalow do not book here otherwise the property is very nice and well maintained.
