The drive was very tricky to use. Slope and twisted with a raised lump where it joined the pathway liable to damage a heavily loaded car. I decided not to risk it. Not shown in pictures.

Family friendly, pet friendly and perfect.

This property's photos do not do this home justice. The views are epic, and the back garden, secure for a dog, is large enough for children to play in quite happily! The house is large and spacious, and the living areas are more than well arranged for a relaxed stay. The kitchen has utensils galore, the oven works well, a huge fridge, and a washer/dishwasher to give a more relaxed vibe when cleaning up! A shower room downstairs is perfect for anyone with mobility issues, too, as it has a seat in it. Clean and well-ventilated against dampness, which is always a worry of mine. The lounge is spacious and clean. It is a tidy area that you can relax in, with views of the front garden and the green outside. A twin room, which again has space for clothes for a week, for two people, and the bed (I am told) are very comfortable. Upstairs a huge bathroom, with an overhead shower, which again is clean and tidy. A single room, with a velux window, this window could do with a clean as it has a few cobwebs on it, but the room itself was spotless. The double room was spacious and a very comfortable bed.

The shower seat needs cleaning underneatha dn the velux window needs cleaning. But that really is it - it is perfect for a break away!

Nice property but was described as a bungalow and it is not.

A very nice clean property with good facilities and a nice garden.

It was advertised as a bungalow. Other reviews led us to wonder if there were a few steps and how difficult it would be as two of our party have mobility problems. So we emailed the owners both through booking.com and through Sykes cottages but no reply was ever received. This is NOT a bungalow. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs and this caused considerable problems. If you are looking for a bungalow do not book here otherwise the property is very nice and well maintained.

Spacious. Clean. Bright and new. Well maintained and looked after Accessible Comfy beds, all bedding and towels provided. Good heating, comfy furniture Great dining table for eating, socialising game playing (we loved the lazy susan) Quirky zebra teapot in the kitchen Pet friendly, relatively secure rear garden

Flexible showerhead in the main bathroom too loose and not great spray Could benefit from some replacement kitchen accessories - pans, serving spoons etc. a few more forks, no cheesegrater Struggling to come up with suggested improvements. We would come back here.

Everything was there that was needed not much if u don't drive tho nearest shop is a mile away

On leaving the next guests arrived and the cleaner hadn't been to take care of the bed cleaning and general cleaning we did clean but the cleaner still should have been

Enjoyed our short stay in a warm and comfortable property.

Lovely outlook over wooded hills. Well kept patio with comfortable garden furniture. Bungalow was beautifully furnished, well maintained and cleaned to a high standard.

Property wasn’t suited to someone with mobility issues as there was a fairly steep, sloping drive with three, substantial steps into the property. No reliable internet connection.
