Perfect for my needs.

At the time of my stay it was a portacabin in the yard of the house which had all amenities built in which suited me perfectly as I could come and go as I pleased without disturbing anyone in the hoise.

Lies about property

Nothing to like, it was an awful experience. Won't try it again. The host said the room I was to stay had plumbing issues and would be rectified on day two but nothing, I guess that is the same lies that would be told to everyone that comes to stay. I ended up staying in the garage for two days.

It wasn't a room in a 3 bed flat, it was a makeshift room in a garage converted into a room. I felt very vulnerable and unsafe, felt like I was sleeping on the road. That affected my sleep badly as I felt unsafe and couldn't sleep

“the worst nightmare”

nothing, I have evidence of the conversation I had with person running this place if ever this asked for.

the place is difficult to find, there is no parking. before getting to the property I arranged for keys with the honour who was saying he wasn’t home. he said I should call before getting to the house. when I got to the house keys were by the window. I got into the house which was filthy from the entrance and was greeted by a heavy smell of Nigerian food. the house was filthy. I went to the room which had a “bookings.com” sign. the room smelt of cigarettes and it was filthy though this guy claimed to have cleaned it up after someone had checked out. if I hadn’t paid I would have walked out to look for an alternative accommodation. the window was open and it was freezing cold. the bed was soiled it marks of bodily fluids. I couldn’t use the bedding provided had to go to my car to get betting. I told the guy about the state of the house and he blamed everything on the person who had left. he asked me to take pictures which I sent to him. he acted shocked and still maintained he cleaned. there was dirty underwear on the floor, smoked cigarettes on the floor. I told the guy that his charge for the room was too high for the room considering it’s state and he said Booking.com will do a refund. there was no key on the bedroom door and there wasn’t any hot water this morning. this person must not be allowed to book out this room it’s not safe at this house. the furniture in the room had filthy marks. it is an awful place. please people don’t go to this house and experience what I went through. I had nightmares. I only took pictures of the room and I have more if people want to so. but this place is a NO NO. I expect a refund from booking.com for misleading people. I hope Booking.com takes this seriously. the guy said he was making arrangements to change the mattress and put a lock on the bedroom door.

We had access to a kitchen under renovation and could only use the kettle, microwave and fridge. My food kept in the fridge was consumed by someone else. Also, the washing machine had a couple timber boards covering it and although it was working, as we didnt want to lift it, we didnt have access to it. The floorboards of the entire house were loose and kept creaking with every step. The heating was constantly being turned off, so we'd need to turn it on and wait before using.

The location was nice

The property was dirty he said we got the whole place to ourselves when he was there not much privacy. Bedsheets looked like they haven't been changed in year's. Toilet, kitchen was absolutely disgusting
