What did you like about the property? What made our stay at Parrotel Lagoon Waterpark Resort truly special was not only the hotel itself, but especially the people working there. From the first day until the very last moment of our holiday, we felt welcomed, cared for, and genuinely comfortable. The atmosphere created by the staff was incredibly warm and friendly, almost like being part of a family rather than simply being hotel guests. First of all, we would especially like to mention Aya. She was absolutely one of the most important reasons why our stay was so enjoyable. From the very first seconds of our trip until the final minutes before leaving, Aya was always there whenever we needed anything. We could reach her whenever we had a question, request, or small problem, and she always responded with kindness, patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Aya did not simply perform her job; she made us feel personally looked after. She always tried to find a solution, followed up on our requests, and made sure that we were comfortable. Her communication was excellent, and her positive attitude never changed throughout the entire stay. We sincerely hope that the management recognizes how valuable she is because employees like Aya can completely change a guest’s impression of a hotel. Her manager should genuinely be proud to have her on the team. We are extremely grateful to her and can honestly say that our holiday would not have felt the same without her. However, we also want to emphasize that Aya was part of a wider team that created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the resort. Almost everywhere we went, we met staff members who were smiling, helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The lifeguards around the pools and waterpark were attentive, responsible, and at the same time very friendly. They made us feel safe without making the atmosphere feel strict or uncomfortable.

What didn’t you like about the property? Although our overall experience was very positive, there are a few areas where we believe the hotel could improve. The main point for us was the food. We felt that the quality of the meals was not always at the same level as the rest of the hotel experience. There was a reasonable selection, but in terms of taste, freshness, consistency, and variety, we expected a little more. Some meals were enjoyable, while others felt quite average. We believe that with better quality control, slightly more variety, and stronger attention to presentation and taste, the dining experience could improve significantly. Another area that could be improved is cleanliness. We would not describe the hotel as dirty, but we did feel that some areas could receive more detailed and consistent attention. In certain moments, especially in shared areas and some housekeeping details, we noticed that a little more care would have made the experience feel more polished and comfortable. We want to emphasize that these comments are meant constructively. The staff themselves were extremely friendly, helpful, and hardworking, and our comments regarding cleanliness are more about overall standards and consistency rather than the attitude of the employees. Considering the price of the stay, we still think the hotel provides very good value for money. The positive atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, the waterpark facilities, and especially the support we received from Aya made the overall experience much better. If the hotel improves the food quality and pays slightly more attention to cleaning standards, we believe the overall experience could become much stronger and the hotel could reach a noticeably higher level.
