Apollo City Stay in Plaka

We booked this apartment entirely by chance, and it turned out to be the best decision of our trip. We traveled as two families with two kids at the beginning of July, and we couldn't have asked for a better place for our 3-day stay before catching our ferry.First of all, the location in Plaka is unbeatable—literally in the absolute center. Every single street leads to something beautiful. You are just steps away from the main pedestrian shopping streets, the traditional leather workshops, and some incredible culinary spots. We loved that we could easily walk to the famous 72H Artisanal Bakery for fresh morning pastries, and take a stroll up to Anafiotika (the beautiful "neighborhood of cats") right at the foot of the Acropolis. If you want a breakfast with a view, the Michelin-starred The Zillers Rooftop is right nearby, and the Hop-On Hop-Off tour buses are just a short walk away at Syntagma Square. You truly do not need a car here; everything is within walking distance! The apartment itself is gorgeous, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It’s located on the 1st floor, so even though the building has an elevator, the few stairs are super easy. The design is cozy and relaxing, filled with beautiful plants and massive windows. The kitchen is fully equipped, and they left us so many coffee capsules we couldn't even finish them! Cold water and a traditional Greek sweet treat were also waiting for us in the fridge. With two bathrooms (one guest toilet and one full bathroom fully stocked with towels, slippers, and dental/body hygiene kits), it was perfect for our group. A special mention goes to the host, Cristina. Even though we didn't meet in person, she is exceptional! She was constantly checking in on us, making sure we had everything we needed, and made us feel like we’ve known her forever. We’ve definitely found a friend in her and a loyal customer for the years to come.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Christine is an incredibly thoughtful and kind host who truly pays attention to every little detail. The apartment is beautifully designed, with exceptional taste and charming touches in every corner, making it feel both elegant and welcoming. Everything we could possibly need was provided, and it was clear that a lot of care and love had gone into preparing the space for guests. Staying here made our trip to Athens even more special. Thank you, Christine, for your warm hospitality and for creating such a beautiful place. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

Although the entrance to the building is currently undergoing renovation, it was not disruptive at all and did not affect our stay in any way. Once inside the apartment, it feels like a completely different world

Εξαιρετικό σημείο! Στην καρδιά της πόλης εύκολη πρόσβαση σε μέσα μεταφοράς, σε καταστήματα και εστιατόρια. Εύκολη μετακίνηση με τα πόδια στο ιστορικό κέντρο της πόλης. Το κατάλυμα είναι καθαρό, μοντέρνο και πολύ λειτουργικό, με όλες τις ανέσεις. Οι ιδιοκτήτες απίστευτα φιλόξενοι και εξυπηρετικοί!
