Villa Puaji

Walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes, laundry services & the beach. Great location for families. We hired a scooter and a buggy and both were dropped right to the villa and picked up. Faud was very helpful and the housekeeper Kadek was really lovely as well. We loved having the pool to cool off after a day out.

The water pressure in the inside main bathroom wasn’t the greatest so we ended up using the outdoor shower that was located outside the main bedroom, suited us just fine considering how hot it was.

Nothing tbh It’s maybe a bit oldish but it’s part of the charm

The fans (inside and outside), the AC in the bedroom, the host-supplied bottled water, instant coffee and mosquito coils, the towels, the comfortable bed, the daily light housekeeping, and the pretty outdoor space. The location is “ok” but we discovered 3 Monkeys (beachfront gym, pool & restaurant), a 3-4 minute walk from the villa which really added to our experience and we visited daily.

Running out of hot water (could not even fill the tub 1/4-1/3 of the way; told the hot water tank is not big enough), no washer as promised, the pigeons that woke us up every morning and at times hung out in the rafters of the outdoor space (the host gave us a pole to chase them away), the red ants that prevented us from using the outdoor bed, the periodic sewage smell in the bathroom area, and the host telling us we can’t use the cushions for the lounge chairs by the pool.
