Disappointed by scaffolding

Location, handy for the tram, the beach and the airport

Scaffolding was on the front of the building so we couldn't use it. The owner gave us a week's notice but by this time with flights and leave booked it was too late to rearrange.

Dirty apartment despite cleaning fee, no AC in bedrooms, and balcony view blocked by construction. Very disappointing st

Close to the beach, but maintenance work is obstructing the view

Although I paid a cleaning fee, the apartment was dirty on arrival — floors and dishes weren’t clean, fridge had leftover food, and the apartment smelled bad. The owner said the cleaner didn’t finish due to an emergency, but how is that my fault? No refund was given. I was misled about the balcony view I paid for — it was blocked by construction. I asked for a discount since I booked for a week, but the owner refused. The listing on Booking.com stated the apartment was fully air-conditioned, but there was no AC in the bedrooms. I asked for a fan, but nothing was provided. Overall, very disappointing experience; wouldn’t recommend.

A very relaxing break in beautiful Nice

The apartment is situated in a charming block on the promenade. It is on the first floor and there is a lift that should be big enough for people and suitcases. We had bikes and we were able to carry them up/down the staircase with ease. The St Helene tram stop is directly outside the back of the apartment block, so you can get the tram directly from the airport (tram no.2). If you have light luggage then the airport is only 20 mins walk along the promenade to the apartment. It really is that easy to get to/from. Nice old town is a very enjoyable 15 mins walk along the promenade too. The bedrooms are comfortable and the apartment is well kitted out with the things you’ll need. The oven is easy to use and there is a Nespresso machine. The view from the front balcony is lovely. The building is undergoing some renovations, which have been brought forward to start in May. They were supposed to start in September. Yes, there is scaffolding but it doesn’t totally block the view and once seated on the balcony, you can see the sea. The owner admits this is not ideal but don’t be put off staying here. After all, you are coming to see Nice and not the view from an apartment balcony! The apartment is quiet, no loud neighbours. And the property owner is so lovely and accommodating, she made our check-in/check-out very smooth. This is a great apartment from which to explore Nice and we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view

We liked the location and the view very much. This is a very nicely renovated apartment with a beautiful view. Moreover the host was very friendly.

There was a canalisation smell in the apartment. And it was weird that we had to give a 500 Euro deposit in cash without any documentation. We received it back without any issue, but we still expected it to be managed in a more formal way.

Lovely Apartment and Great Location

We had a great holiday in Nice. Really enjoyed the stay in this lovely apartment. The information from Nadine the owner beforehand and the welcome from Florence on arrival were both first rate. The nearby tram stop makes it very easy to arrive from the airport and also to make trips to the centre of Nice too. Will miss the amazing view from the apartment and the atmosphere of Nice in general.

Relaxed, enjoyable stay with family

The location was excellent to excess to the beach, just a cross main road. Easy to communicate with the host via messenger. Spacious for 4 family members (2 adults and 2 youngsters)

Most of restaurants locate in the old town, 10 mins drive away, hard to go by walk(more than 40 mins). If you arrive late(over 10pm) you need to pay extra cost(50€)

We spent a wonderful time in Nice

• Location (15 meters from the beach!!!) and facing the sea! • 10 minutes by tramway from the center of Nice 😆 • Clean and Freshly renovated and lovely apartment • Excellent quality of new appliances including (you virtually have everything one needs from kitchen to the ironing board) + air conditioner • Ultrafast internet + Smart TV • Magnificent sunrises and azure watercolor on the little balcony • Our kids loved it too • The owner is very friendly, easy to communicate with and giving clear advices and instructions • much less crowded beaches compare to the city center (a huge advantage in times of Covid-19)

• Parking in Nice (particularly in August) is a struggle! Ohh • unavoidable noise of the cars passing by (and no choice in Nice if one wants to be at the beachfront) • Only one door key is given - it’s a constraint for a family of 5

Местоположение. Море в минуте от входа, Английская набережная под окном, рядом и трамвайная, и автобусная остановки, 6 станций на трамвае от аэропорта Пошли навстречу при заселении – позволили въехать раньше, торопили уборку. За доп плату есть подземная парковка в соседнем здании. В целом хорошо, если не считать минусы.

Нет замков на дверях в ванную комнату/туалет. Часто пахнет канализацией. Как оказалось, есть лимит на горячую воду. В какой-то момент она может закончиться и нужно будет ждать «три часа или следующего дня», чтобы она вернулась. Царапаные тарелки, обломанные ножи. Были установлены строительные леса на фасаде здания, то есть наш вид на море с балкона был испорчен. Понимаю, что их устанавливал не владелец апартаментов, а власти города, но нас даже не предупредили, скидку не предложили. Один комплект ключей, не всегда было удобно кооперироваться со всеми членами семьи.

Perfekt für Familien (max 3 Kinder)

Die Lage ist optimal, genau gegenüber vom Strand und an einer etwas ruhigeren Lage der Promenade des Anglais, optimal für Familien die nicht nach lauter Musik oder der Partymeile suchen. Die Übergabe beim ein und auschecken lief optimal. Das Apartment verfügt über alles was man benötigt. Vielen Dank nochmal an Nadine (Gastgeberin) für die unkloplizierte Kommunikation. Wir werden defintinv wieder kommen...

Die Garage ist zu klein, sollte man vorher überprüfen wenn man nicht vor hat an der Straße zu parken. (Parkticket muss in der Zeit von 08-20h alle 2 verlängert werden, mit der App kann man das auch von unterwegs machen) Ansonsten waren wir mit allen zufrieden und können dies ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Vor allem Familien mit Kindern werden hier auf ihre Kosten kommen.
