The studio was comfortable with a good location

not sure about the cleaning routine, bedding,etc. The towel warmer did not work. The shower doors needed adjusting, if you worked long enough, you could bet them to stay closed for a bit.

The location was perfect, the beds were very comfortable, the hosts were very helpful.

The stairs were a little challenging moving luggage up and down. We didn’t mind walking to the less expensive parking, but transferring our luggage to and from the car at the beginning and end of our stay, required double parking with one person waiting in the car while the other moved the luggage.

- unclear instructions from the hostess how to get there and where to leave our car. Property description doesn't mention it's on a pedestrian road - on our arrival the entry court yard was dirty with bird poo but was cleaned during our stay - property description doesn't mention either that the bedrooms are in the loft and on a different level than the bathroom and toilet.

Beautiful studio in the heart of Honfleur with a great team to make your holiday very special, with Arnaud sending very informative emails before we arrived, Christelle there to welcome us and Sandrine on hand if we needed anything whilst we were there. The studio was very well equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable and very peaceful stay thanks to the excellent soundproof windows!

This was an extremely disappointing rental.

Didn’t correspond well to description. Not very clean especially the bathroom. No flat sheet. Comforter cover and pillowcases not comfortable. Delivery trucks passed in front of the bedroom window at 7:30am. We were left 1 roll of toilet paper and 6 coffee capsules, we had to buy more of each. It was extremely overpriced given the marginal quality.

Absolutely beautiful apartment in a superb location. We stayed for three nights and it was just perfect. Sandrine met us and was so helpful [my French is very basic and Sandrine's English was the same but we managed with Google Translate!]. Highly recommend this apartment.

Comfortable, cosy, picturesque, ideally located and perhaps the perfect place to stay in Honfleur.

We very much liked the overall picturesque atmosphere of the apartment, its location in the center of the town, and the comfort. It was exactly what we expected when we saw the photos while booking the trip.

Only one thing comes to mind: the roof tiles (actually, they were on the walls outside the bedroom window) were loose, and caused a strange noise at night when the winds were strong. We could easily fix them once we found out what caused the noise, but next time the appartement is due for maintenance, these could use fixing.

Saturday morning 05:15 we were woken by the people coming to pick up glass garbage, when I fell asleep again, at 6:30 awoken again by the rest of the garbage. Same on Sunday (except for the glass). That's not nice if you are on holiday. Also, curtains that stop the light better would be appreciated..

Comfortable apartment in great location.

Lovely studio apartment. Very comfortable and ideally located right in the centre. Ideal for a short stay for 2 people and although shops and restaurants right outside, it was actually very quiet. Instructions for arrival were good and we had no problem locating the apartment and meeting up with Sandrine who let us in and showed us everything.

There was nothing not to like. Maybe a couple of spare Tea Towels might be good if I were to be really picky.

The location is amazing and the property owners were very nice and helpful. No laundry in the unit but there is a laundry shop 5 minutes from the apartment.

There were strange smells coming from the bathroom and the Wi-Fi was very limited. The rooms are very small and the stairs are challenging with luggage.

Close proximity to everything in Honfleur. Wonderfully appointed and well stocked kitchen with everything one would need. Very comfortable beds. Very quiet, even with large crowds outside. Arnaud and Sandrine shared very explicit information about Honfleur and followed up to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you!

We had a delightful stay.

We had a great stay at La Venelle des Greniers à Sel. Specifically, we stayed in the duplex Le Pélican which is one of the properties owned by Parenthese Honfleuraise. We used booking.com to both book and prepay this stay. Carla met us at the property right after we arrived. We had prearranged a meeting and she was right on time. She used a translator on her phone to communicate. I’ve been learning French and between her very friendly, helpful manner using the translator and my basic French, we had absolutely no problem communicating. We also stayed in touch using Whatsapp which made it very easy to ask questions and coordinate our check out. There was inexpensive parking just across the street and down a little quai road (€5/24H, 350m walk - 5 min max). Prior to our check in, Carla provided plenty of directions for parking as well as a list of recommended restaurants and things to do in town. She could not have possibly been easier to work with or more helpful. The property was as advertised. It is clean and bright. There is a second bedroom on the ground floor which you reach via a winding staircase from the first floor which is where you enter the apartment. The lower bedroom offers an entry door to a small courtyard which we did not use. If you have any issues with your knees or feet the main bedroom is on the same floor as the entry along with the kitchen and only bathroom. The queen beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable. We were there in the beginning of October and it rained the first day so we just hung out and caught up on a few things at home. The wifi was great. We used one of the small heaters in the first floor bedroom and were very comfortable - no need to run any of the other heaters. It warmed up in the day and we opened the windows for some fresh air. We like to eat breakfast in and buy a few basic items locally when we stay in apartments.

It would be hard for someone with bad knees or feet to negotiate the stairs to the downstairs bedroom.

The perfect way to start our weeks stay in France!

Very organised process for checking in and out - Carla was very communicative and even gave us recommendations on where to go and eat etc. The location was also fantastic, right next to the main quay!

A minor point, but it would be good to provide more than one set of keys to guests (my partner and I were out separately on one of the evenings and it made it a bit tough when I returned later in the evening)
