In the middle of olive orchards, right next to the beach, there's this beautiful small house with nice garden and a couple of animals (cats, hens, even a horse!). The apartment is cute and has everything we needed. The host is very friendly, cooks REALLY GREAT greek food (ask them! it pays off), and even gave us some extra home-made cake the other day. The beach is beautiful, and outside of season is completely deserted and you have it all for yourself. The walk towards the elafonissos ferry is absolutely a must, you will pass the submerged sea city, and a beautiful carribean-style beach which is (unexpectedly) right by the ferry port. Totally recommended.

We loved our time at Mergis, the kids fell in love with all the animals and it was super close to the beach. We had everything we needed and if we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay again.

Everything was perfect!! Georgia is the best host we have ever had. The house was immaculate and had absolutely everything you could need. The location is very close to numerous beaches, cafe's and restaurants. It is very tranquil and relaxing and we very much enjoyed our stay! Be sure to order a homemade meal as Georgia is an outstanding cook.
