Villa Diamanti

Friendly people - I believe it was the owner/manager - on arrival, showed me around the common kitchen facilities and gave me instructions to go to the cafe where I was meeting my friends. Excellent parking, very clean common kitchen and room, bright room with two windows, despite the fact that it was at the back of the property. Liked that I could make my own coffee in the morning and take it back to my room. I appreciated that although I cancelled one night at the last minute they did not charge me anything.

Very small shower stall with a plastic curtain that clung to my body, which I hate. A smell of pipes in the bathroom that seeped into the room, although the bathroom window was wide open. 100% synthetic duvet/bed-spread which made the bed unbearably hot.

Amazing location, perfect for a couple of nights stay, equipped kitchenette, access to a nice garden overlooking the sea and the old town, right next to the supermarket, very comfortable beds and nice bed linen, short walk to restaurant area and parking.

Little bit cramped and dark, shower particularly could maybe do with a bit of updating as shower was quite tight. But not a major issue, nothing we couldn’t deal with.

Perfect location - the sound of the sea outside the door - with a view towards Montenvassia island

Communication with hosts was a little difficult because of language. The apartment could do with a little modernisation.

Very good location, walkable distance from Gefyra and monemvasia. The owners were very polite and hospitable. Good base to explore monemvasia and the areas around.

The rooms were not soundproof. We were very close to the main entrance and we were hearing everyone entering, talking or going to their rooms like they were next to us. I believe that there are more value for money options a bit outside of monemvasia for a more comfortable stay.
