Kritikos Rooms

Friendly host. Comfortable bed. Even though it is close to the road with occasional traffic, with the window shutter closed I never experienced any disturbance at night. Small balcony with a table and 2 chairs and a view of the island you will be visiting.. Outside the room was a small kitchen area which had everything I needed to make an Omelette every morning, as well as a gas stove for making Greek Coffee, etc. Only about 5 minutes walk from there to the causeway and the KTEL office / stop. Water pressure was good.

Very minor thing. Upon returning to my room after being outside in bright sunlight, I often found it very difficult to find the key slot for the room in the dark corridor. Maybe some luminous tape encircling the key slot may help?

Nice and clean and amazing location.it’s actually better to stay there than inside the city unless you enjoy backpacking through a crowd.

Can’t think of anything

Everything was clean comfortable and functional, a typical Greek apartment-style room. The view from the balcony was great.

Close to the castle and to all the shops and restaurants. Centrally located to everything and it wasn’t noisy. Quiet place to sleep and relax. Loved our host. She was the sweetest!!!

It was very outdated. It needs renovations. The closets were very old and smelled of mildew. The bathroom was tiny and you could hardly fit in the shower. There was hot water and full of toiletries. The rooms were tight and not much room to move around in. Recommend having dressers in the room and some hooks on the wall to hang a thing or two. The kitchen was well equipped with big fridge and a small cooktop stove to cook if one needed to. We just slept at the room and we went out all the time and went sightseeing. The beds were comfortable though and the room was clean. The place reminded me of 1970s apartment buildings in Athens. Charming but outdated.
