Ubicación perfecta. Tranquilo. Cerca de la salidas de autocares, excursiones, taxis... de los restaurantes, cajeros y supermercados. Gracias Rafaela por tus indicaciones y sugerencias!

Hervorragende Lage. Auch Parkplatz, trotz der Enge im Stadtzentrum, kein Problem. Drei Minuten zu laufen. Vermieterin, wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit (ihre vorbereiteten Tips für Sao Miguel Neulinge, vor allem die kulinarischen, bitte unbedingt beachten). Wohnung gut ausgestattet. Sogar Klimaanlage und Waschmaschine.

in the middle of the city centre so everything the city has to offer is close by. The host was very friendly and helpfull.
The apartment is next to some (very noisy) bars. Since it's an old building you can hear everything (including neighbours) which has the result that we didn't sleep well.
You can tell that the appartement is in an old building. It is pretty humid, musty and warm inside the apartment. The water from the shower is unpredictable: can take a long time for warm water to flow, but can be hot very suddenly. Water pressure also changes.
Be aware that parking and getting to the apartment by car isn't easy: very narrow 'one-way' streets. You must be lucky to find a parking spot in front of the apartment: it is paid parking and there's definitely some risk others cars damage yours because the street is very narrow. There's free parking at the very end of the street but this is roughly a 7 minute walk.
The wifi was a bit slow too.
These are all traits of the apartment that the host can't really be blamed for, but be aware of these disadvantages.
