A couple of days away with a group of family and friends made extra special in a stunning house like Marl Hill House!!

Lovely house for a group trip

Beautiful house, gardens and features. Very cosy, great for dogs as it’s fully enclosed. Pond area great for sunset views. Lovely quiet surroundings.

We were unable to get in for a while due to the key lock box, which was stressful with dogs, fridge food and toddler.

En-suite shower didn’t work properly kept getting hot and cold intermittently which meant all of us using one shower

Beautiful house in a beautiful location

The property is very well restored, and furnished. Love the fires and the outside seating area with beautiful surroundings and gardens. We used as a base for a cycling weekend with friends and it was perfect.

Location is beautiful House is cosy and well equipped, Spotlessly clean.

We aren’t a fan of electric showers but realise sometimes there is no alternative.

the mains water is brown in colour . so not fit to drink . was not told prior to arriving . had to bulk buy bottled water . property and fixtures fittings need renewal in some cases .No flutes provided . pots and pans well worn . would be good to have a freezer in the house . heating controls would be good if they could be used by the renters . No ventilation to bathrooms other than window that wouldn’t open and if you ooen the velux in the top bathroom , you get invaded by 100s of flies ! … All can be sorted … cobwebs here and there could have been cleaner , appreciate it’s an older property
