The apartment is spacious and contains everything you would need. Very clean and plenty of towels. Kitchen well equipped. Nice balcony, we never really used due to building noise. We had an issue with ants. Spoke to the apartment agent and was sorted that day. Maderia is a fab island to visit. We used one of the yellow taxis to do a tour of west side of island, which was the whole day. Charged 155 euros for 4 of us total.
Unfortunately, there is a building site opposite the apartment, so we had noise from the site from Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7pm . It was very noisy, too. Shame as the area around the apartment is peaceful and an easy walk to the old town. Beds are not comfortable, bed toppers would make a big difference.
