Super friendly hosts ❤️ The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped — we were able to cook and bake everything we wanted, and all the essentials were provided (salt, sugar, olive oil, tea, etc.). The apartment is perfect for families. We stayed with two children and had plenty of space. The board games and movie collection were a lovely bonus and kept the kids entertained. The location is ideal for hiking. Most trailheads can be reached within 10 minutes, including routes to Kehlsteinhaus, Rossfeld Panoramastraße, Purtschellerhaus, Carl-von-Linde-Weg, Zinkenstüberl, Berchtesgaden and Königssee, as well as many others. The panoramic road is absolutely worth the fee. For history enthusiasts, the ruins of the Berghof are only a 2-minute drive away. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back ❤️.

You could add it as a gentle note in the “Cons” section: The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was quite weak during our stay. In some cases, I wasn’t even able to load Google Maps to plan the next day’s hikes or access the guest card information online, so we ended up not using it. It wasn’t a major issue for us since we were on vacation and spent most of our time outdoors, but if reliable internet access is important to you, it may be worth checking with the hosts whether the connection has improved since our visit. 🙂
