Local surfing paradise on a black beach

If you want to be close to nature and far away from tourists and meet locales, this place is for you. Scenery like in the movie. Pro tip: don’t get drunk when you come back home ;)

We loved staying at the surf camp

We loved staying at the surf camp. The bungalows were great. The cold shower was a shock and a little uncomfortable at times. The free breakfast was pleasant but the kids preferred food from the Locas Warung next door. Close to Keramas surf break. If you're into surfing I would definetley recommend staying here.

Not much

At first glance, the place looks nice — but unfortunately, our experience was far from it. The nearby beaches are covered in rubbish. While this isn’t directly the surf camp’s fault, it’s worth knowing if you’re expecting pristine surroundings. The real issue, however, was with the accommodation. Our AC unit began leaking in the middle of the night, flooding the apartment and ultimately destroying my €1000 laptop. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff blamed us, claiming we had the AC on “for too long.” Completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, Booking.com offered no help or resolution. I strongly advise against staying here. There are plenty of other, better-managed options in the area.

Just 2 minutes walk from the beach. Some good warungs just arround the corner. If you’d like to eat more western one day that is possible as well in the resort just next to the bungalows but it is more pricey. Setting is very beautiful. Every bungalow has a little terrace. The property has a mini market, that is very handy. Staff js friendly and helpfull.

The AC aren’t cooling the rooms too much. It is fine but it could be better. There is no door to the bathroom, only a curtain and no mosquito neta are provided, nevertheless I had not a single night a mosquito… just leave the AC on and you get a free mosquito repellent that you can plug in. The rooms are not deep clean. Looks good but if you’d move any furniture you see the room is just cleaned superficially.

Incredible stay

I had an incredible stay at Keramas Surf Camp! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the location is perfect for surfing and relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

A short walk to Keramas Beach, cool converted barns. A winner!

Surprise accommodation booking of the trip! Cool converted rice barns, plenty of space, big beds, high ceilings and great location at Keramas beach. Fall asleep to the sounds of 100’s of frogs and the crashing surf. Store on the property too for supplies, basic breakfast all good as well. Lovely staff.

Even though this is a „surf camp“, at has not a single surfboard for rent! We left early because there is nothing else to do.

Good place to rest, next to the beach having a reef wave. The rooms are Infront of a rice field and the room bathrooms are outdoors. Breakfast is simple and nice!

The name of the stay is misleading - it is only a stay that does not offer surf lessons nor rental! There is a rental 100 meters away from the place
