All the reviews are right, this is one of the cleanest & best value places I stayed in all of Bali

As a long term traveller, I'm very picky about where I stay but I found Nirmala Guest house practically perfect. At first I stayed in the double room, then extended my stay another 1 week with an upgrade to the bungalow (for the same price if you reserve it in person off this platform). The double room had a great rice paddy view and the bungalow was really nice, spacious with a private patio too. Both had consistent hot water, were super clean (cleaning was done daily) and had comfy beds. The staff were always so nice and willing to help too. It's a 5 minutes walk from a beautiful black sand beach for peaceful walks and more dining spots nearby. I had a truly beautiful stay here.

There's an onsite restaurant that would have been nice to have more vegan options on the menu

The food was delicious, the room was clean and spacious, and the location was 5 minutes walk to main surf break of Keramus. The pool was really handy as the beach was not so good for swimming. The accommodation price was also very reasonable.

Relaxing and affordable

Very nice area and all the building where detailed and super nice, the workers where so nice and very accomodating and were very friendly. Would definitely recommend eating all your meals at the restaurant, super well priced and great portions. Definitely will be back next time in bali

A lovely, peaceful retreat surrounded by ricefields

My room was situated in a wing that faced rice fields, which was lovely and soothing to see. The bed was comfy, there was sufficient provision for clothes and other items, and a kettle for making tea or coffee. Small bottles of water were provided each day, along with small cellophane bags of sweet snacks. The room was small, but not oppressively so. I ate breakfast each day at the restaurant, which was lovely. Sometimes lunch and dinner too. The pool area was small, befitting the size of the guesthouse, and had adequate loungers and chairs. I had several Bali massages at the guesthouse spa, which were excellent. The staff were all lovely.

I would have loved a mirror near to a power outlet so I could use a hairdryer. It took me a while to work out how best to use the shower. One showerhead didn't have much pressure and the other sprayed about unless I held it. Eventually I realised the best strategy was to use the hand-held showerhead, and turn it off in between rinses. This worked well. Ideally, guests at Nirmala would have their own transport. I didn't. If I was visiting again I'd be sure to plan better for this.

LOVED everything - great food, very close walk to keramas. Awesome staff and really friendly dogs! We stayed in a villa with a mini fridge and it was perfect for our surf trip - nice likeminded surfers around as well. Also has an awesome yoga space, nice outdoor pool and little spa. Such good value and dont have a single negative thing to say.

Just an amazing experience

Super quiet place for everyone who wants to hear the sound Of the sea and relax. Host were super cute and friendly, the breakfast - just FANTASTIC. You must try their waffles! There is Beach just 2 minutes away from house where you can surf.

Beautiful grounds overlooking rice paddies and down a path to the beach and the wave. The dinner we had at the restaurant there was delicious too.
