It was very clean, big spacious rooms, modern style, and great location.
Many of the doors didn’t work properly, had a hard time with the shower and it never did really work properly. The grill did not have any Propane and the maintenance man said they would bring some and they never did.

This was our second year staying at the Klaus House, and overall we had a good time. One big improvement from last year was the upgraded living room furniture—definitely a nice touch and much more comfortable.
The location is fantastic. You can walk right out the back door and be on the beach, which is one of our favorite parts of staying here.
That said, there are still several issues that need to be addressed. The coffee maker didn’t work, the dishwasher doesn’t clean properly, and the kitchen sink has terrible water pressure. The washing machine also doesn’t always spin the clothes—you often have to manually run the spin cycle. The sliding door in the primary bedroom is broken, none of the showers work like they should, and the downstairs shower leaks water all over the floor.
Another thing to mention is that while the property is supposed to be non-smoking for all units, just about every neighbor was out back smoking constantly—including one who smoked weed every day. That really took away from the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for. Also, one day the unit next door was being worked on, and the workers were cutting backer board right next to my wife’s car, slinging dust and debris all over it.
With the right maintenance and better enforcement of property rules, this could be a great vacation spot. We love the location but hope to see more improvements if we decide to return.
