Hopewell Villa w/Pool & walk to Grace Bay beach 🏖

The house and surrounding area were perfect and spotless. We had a great time! The kitchen had everything we needed. We only had a small problem with hot water and Norman helped us out and was always available whenever we asked a question.

Ken is wonderfully helpful and responsive. We travelled with our seven year old daughter, and this spot was perfect for us. The quiet location, exceptional cleanliness, pool, easy proximity to activities and beach were perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A friend and I stayed at Hopewell Villa East in March 2020 for 8 nights. From the first enquiry we sent in in February, Ken was very responsive and eager to help us plan our stay. He was able to work out a better price for us, as well as add on extra nights when we decided to stay longer. He also checked to see if we had a car rental and other accommodation booked for the nights we couldn’t stay at the villa. His parents met us on arrival (they live next door in a separate and private unit) and gave us a tour of the villa. It is beautifully decorated, has all mod cons, and was immaculately clean. The villa is securely gated and also has a house alarm. It’s a few roads away from Coco Bistro. The neighbourhood seems full of rental villas and felt very safe. Some side roads are pretty bumpy we but figured out how to navigate them and they aren’t any different than other parts of the island.We saw neighbours walking down to Grace Bay Beach frequently, but we opted to get a car rental in order to explore all of Provo. There are two bikes at the villa if you want to bike around. Ken also supplied ziploc bags, Saran Wrap, all soaps for kitchen, bath and laundry, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and had spare sunscreen and bug repellant. The fridge has filtered water (cuts out a huge expense), there were bottles of water waiting for us, and the freezer does cubed and crushed ice - also handy. There are beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as outside patio area with BBQ and a clothesline. The air conditioning was easy to control and effective so we could leave it off when not at home and cool down the place quickly once home. We cooked the majority of our meals and had most everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. There were even some spices, salt and sugar available so we didn’t need to buy any. Both queen beds were incredibly comfortable, and there were so many linens and towels (beach, bath and kitchen) that came in handy. We loved having two bathrooms!We had some alarm and gate issues (user error, likely) but Ken and his dad responded quickly. They also left a spare cell phone with $10 of minutes on it, if needed. I can’t say enough about how wonderful a host Ken and his parents are, and how perfect the villa is for the location and price. We didn’t find we needed a pool as we snorkeled and visited the beach everyday. We researched a lot of places before emailing Ken and are so glad we were able to stay here.
