Beautiful villa West with pool- 5 minutes to Gracebay beach

Host Ken is always available and checks in. Everything about this home is wonderful.We enjoyed our week here.Great amenities and supplies available. AC worked great. Perfect location for us, you can walk into downtown and to restaurants, the beach a bit further and with beach supplies, a quick drive easier. For 2 couples, plenty of room and seating inside and out. Pool area beautiful, pool temp just right. You will need the bug spray for evening hours in Turks. One thing, I guess Masterbedroom has own bathroom, but no door to it, just fyi, so no quiet privacy while using it for roomate and if you like evening board games, there arent any. Overall everyone enjoyed and would rent again.

Great location!! Very clean. Everything you need is available. Toiletries, paper towels, soap, detergent. It was nice not to worry about grocery shopping for those products. Easy communication with the owner. Very close to shops and restaurants. Beach chairs and cooler was a great convenience. The beach was very windy. So we really enjoyed the pool. Great vacation!!!

We stayed for a week with our two kids (12 and 8) and had the BEST time. We planned to stay in most nights so wanted somewhere comfortable for our family after long days at the beach. Our kids played in the pool until dinner time and had their own space afterwards to relax before bed. We loved the outdoor shower to rinse off after beach days and the laundry was a savior. The location was perfect with easy access and the cul-de-sac/gated driveway was an extra bonus. Our daughter has already asked to come back next year.

Pros: Good Location, good showers, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, and a nice shady area with cushions where you can relax or read a book.Cons: Communication is poor. Pool staff and gardeners would just appear in your yard with no notice. The door code was changed from the one provided before our arrival. When the hydro was out, the electric gate would not open, so we could not get in. Also multiple days passed, and multiple requests were made before someone came to fix the safe. They tried once, didn’t fix it and never returned. The best communication method we have found, is to create a group on WhatsApp, including the landlord, tenant, and property manager. Any party can enter something, all parties are copied and can respond when it will be addressed, and when the issue is resolved.Other landlords have provided via email, a PDF document including all of the above and more, at least two days before we leave, so we can familiarize ourselves, and also have the document handy on our phone. The landlord owed us some money. He said, I quote “I will give CAD in cash once you arrive at the property.” It was not there. After 3 weeks I reminded him and his reply was, and I quote “It was arranged for the CAD to be left for you on the day that you checked out.” He did send his representative over with money. I would have appreciated if he had replied he forgot, apologized and sent over the money. it would have been a non issue. Read your own email
