Riad Agdal Royal & Spa

The room and bathroom were beautiful. Having access to a pool was nice because the weather was so hot. Roof top breakfast was wonderful. Someone met us at our shuttle stop and also walked us to our shuttle when we left.

A little far from all the action but we didn’t mind. It was very quiet.

The staff were every welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was great - walkable to the Medina whilst being on a slightly quieter part.

It was a little noisy due to the other guests, there isn't much sound proofing between rooms. We could hear a fountain of some sort come on in the night too. Perhaps from the spa?

Riad agdal royal is clean and quiet. The staff are all calm and welcoming. Had no issues at all and would defiantly stay again. Everything is close by.

Decent location, 10 min walk from the main souk, 5 min walk from main road on south side so easy access to cabs etc.

Location smells. The bedding in the riad was DISGUSTING, various stains and bugs found and very poor bedding quality. However they were proactive to work with us and relocate us to another room and provided an extra bed. The bed frames give splinters, and some chairs are made of metal with scraos sticking out so DO NOT GO WITH CHILDREN. AC started leaking, theyre very stingy with toilet paper. And also, if you are going with a big group, be ready to get separated because I went as a group of 5, and they offered us two rooms (no issue with that) one for 3 people in the main riad building, but they have a second compound next door thats really dingy and unattended to? (Big issue) Staff in the riad are very mediocre characters with little life to them, apart from Mohammed who was a lovely member of staff and front of house when he was on shift. The night staff were very displeasing and didnt look like they enjoyed being there and doing their jobs. This is meant to be a 24/7 access riad, you should be open to staying out late grabbing late night meals and enjoy the evening, but instead you return to a grumpy member of staff who takes 10mins to open the doors to the riad when you came back and ring the bell. Eventually when he does open, he appears in nightwear and a disgusting mood on his face. On the PLUS, the cleaning staff are good people and do a decent job at maintaining the rooms when youre away and replenish your bedding. But I think they were overcompensating for the nasty bedding we came across when we first arrived. Breakfast in the riad was the same everyday. Not many options other than some eggs and a juice. And god forbid you ask for a second serving....... Overall, do not go to this Riad. It may be cheap and cheerful, but its not worth it in any degree.
