Ale Naples Holiday

The room was really welcoming as were the hosts parents who greeted us. Fantastic location with restaurants either side. Alessandra also offered and booked us transport to the airport the following morning which was greatly appreciated . Would easily stay there again.

Great location near the train station. Communication with the host was excellent and quick. Very welcoming and helpful.

Small accomodation name sign on the main front door made it a little tricky to find.

It is quite noisy, door slams and other noises from neighbours in particular, room is a bit tired.

We booked here because we were coming in by train from another town and wanted to explore Pompei, by taking a tour, before having to fly home the next day out of Naples International Airport. The location ALE Naples Holiday was just a 5 minute walk from the Napoli Centrale Train Station. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the split system A/C worked great and was quiet, a refrigerator and the building had an elevator. The building, itself, is home to other businesses, as well. It looks to be under some renovation on the ground floor, as there is an open area (conservatory) where some esthetic enhancement has been planned and ongoing.. I had some concerns when we got through the front door, with that undertaking, but it was fine. It an easy walk to a myriad of restaurants. There is plenty of police presence around the entire area extending out from the train station, so I don't believe safety is a concern. My wife and I went out to eat around 7:15pm and the neighborhood was bustling with tourists, locals and diners. For an overnight or two stay or for an in transit stay, there is nothing wrong with this place.

Granted ALE Naples Holiday is located in a very old building, but it features the perks I mentioned above. The only suggestion I would make to the establishment would be to upgrade the toilet system. What serves as its tank is mounted higher up on the wall, which perfectly normal. The strange part, for me, was the plumbing also ran through a floor mounted box configuration, which was new to me. It was a little noisy through the flushing action.
