Atrium New Gudauri by Gudauri Travel

The location of the building is arguably the best location in Gudauri for ski-in ski-out. It's also a short walk to the main restaurants, gear hire, and supermarkets in the village. The apartment is spacious with comfortable mattresses, quality furniture and a kitchen suitably equipped for a short and medium length stays. The view from the apartment is incredible, with a perfect view of the main ski lift, village and slopes. The building has a locker room in the basement for each apartment, so you need not worry about where to store your gear.

We booked the apartment specifically for the three separate large beds for three adults, but when we arrived one of the beds did not have a mattress. The host mentioned the mattress that was missing was removed as it was not suitable for guests to sleep on, but no solution was offered which meant one of the guests had to sleep on the couch or next to another guest. This was not ideal, but we did not make a fuss about it because we were there to enjoy the outdoors. We hope this is resolved for future guests who may not be as understanding.

The location of the building was perfect, I don't think can get any better, you can literally enter as you are at the end of the slope. You have restaurants, bars, supermarkets, all few minutes walking. There is free street parking in front of the building and it was very safe, we left the car 3 days and everything was fine. The view was also nice from the apartment, you could see the mountain. On the -1 floor there are a lockers area and you have one for your ski things.

When we arrived the apartment was no clean, was very disappointing, they said they cleaned it but maybe was several days before or the person didn't do a good job because it wasn't pleasent. The shower had yellow stains in the floor, it needed change of grouting, handwashing basin also not properly washed, the cup for the tooth brushes dirty in the bottom, even the toilet you could see wasn't properly washed. Also the bedsheets and the cover were very old and something looked like a stain or just too old. Carper also not properly vacuumed. I had to request them to come next day and do a full cleaning and change of bedcloth. Which they did and after that the apartment was totally fine, the bathroom really needed to be cleaned, I noticed the difference after. The good thing is that they went next day and fixed all the issues but would have been better if it was like that from day one.
