Residenza Il Conte Rosso

I liked the view of the big tree on the Piazza in front of the house. The property is stylish on the inside.

The owner did not warn us in advance about the building process outside in the street. The city is upgrading the tram system. Builders started every morning @ 5:45 with a cement mixer and then they cut big cement tiles with a grinder all day long. The noise was unbearable. The owner never provided clean sheets or towels. They only have 1 set of linen in the house. There is a lovely small washing machine in the kitchen. You can wash 1 sheet at a time and then you have to hang it on the kitchen table to dry. There is a small drying rack for clothes. Not big enough for linen. My husband worked in the house everyday while we were in Florence and had to endure the tile cutting all day and washing on the kitchen table in the open plan house.

We had a great stay at this apartment! It was very nice, exactly like in the pictures, and everything felt new and fresh. The two air conditioners were a lifesaver during the heat. Our bed was very comfortable, and our child slept on the sofa — which was honestly the most comfortable sofa I've ever tried! It was so good we even took a photo to try and find the same one for our home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need. The owners were very kind and helpful, with clear instructions, and they responded immediately to our question even late in the evening. Just a small note: the listing shows that parking is included, but further down it's mentioned that it's for an extra fee. The owners informed us about it via message, so there were no issues. There is some street noise, but it didn’t bother us at all. We really liked the location — within walking distance to the city center. We would definitely choose this apartment again!

Appartamento pulito e accessoriato.

Disguido (?) relativo al parcheggio privato che, come da videata, sembrava incluso nel prezzo dell'appartamento e successiva mancanza di presenza e volontà, da parte dei gestori, di provare a trovare un compromesso accomodante per le parti. Ci siamo arrangiati, risparmiando sessantanove euro mentre i locatori ne hanno persi novanta, oltre alla bella figura. L''appartamento è decisamente rumoroso, anche a imposte ben chiuse, a causa della trafficatissima statale che vi scorre a fianco. Lo sciacquone del water è rimasto bloccato. Se non avessi saputo metterci le mani, l'acqua sarebbe scesa per tutta la notte. Tra parentesi, la tazza è stata montata leggermente inclinata. Una sciocchezza, ma pagando duecento euro a notte...
