Absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing place Our stay at this villa was unforgettable. The villa itself was comfortable and well maintained, but what truly made the experience special was the host. They were so warm, helpful, and welcoming that it felt like staying with family. We loved every moment and would highly recommend this place.

A perfect base for exploring with wonderful hosts

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Shaman. So beautiful, the children loved playing in the garden. The hosts were brilliant, they made us a lovely dinner and assisted in telling us where to find the northern lights. Old children are desperate to return for longer!

Fantastic property with the most amazing boats

The property was homely , full of Finnish charm & warmth . Outi and Pekka were incredible hosts. Kind and warm from the minute we booked & they collected us from the airport . Lovely treats on arrival and lots of information within the property on the local area . Fully equipped . Extra payment for use of hot tub but was well worth it after a day of activities . Sauna was also lovely . Robes & towels available . Amazing location for Santa Claus village , we use Arctic GM for tours & they were happy to collect from the property . Pekka and Outi live in the adjoining villa , so always there if you need anything ! ( even a carafe of wine 😁)

Fantastic accommodation

Pekka and Outi were lovely hosts. We’ve received a warm welcome and they made sure we’ve got everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the Sauna, comfortable beds and the kids the loved playing outside in the backyard (the little present they e received). Thanks again for these memories.

This property encapsulates Lapland - it's decor, coziness, and warm/efficient hosts made it special

I don't where to start except to say I highly recommend this choice. Hosts were extremely accommodating, warm and efficient in helping us. The house is warm, cozy and fully equipped. We loved the decor - animal skins on furniture and antlers hanging off the chandeliers. Beds were comfortable, thermostat is manual, and it has a sauna and a hot tub (extra cost) which was so much fun with family. Hosts provided affordable taxi services including to/from airport/ski hills, even last minute. Being outside the town centre made it extra special, snowy and dark; apparently on very clear nights Aurora shows herself nearby but we weren't so lucky. This place encapsulates Lapland!

What a perfect accommodation in every way!

Villa Shaman was the perfect location for the city and was a great location for all attractions in and around Rovanemi. The house was perfectly clean, comfortable and the facilities of the hot tub and sauna made our stay really great. Pekka and Outi were so welcoming and were always willing to help.

Amazing stay with great hosts.

We stayed as a family of 6! We loved that we was out the way of the tourist area. The background was a bonus as the kids could you out and play in the snow and be safe. The hosts were amazing at providing pick up from the airport and transport to and from SCV. The property had everything you need. There is a small shop that you can walk to in 10 minutes. The home was very comfortable and very homely. Throughly enjoyed our first visit to beautiful Finland!

Amazing property with wonderful hosts near city centre

Amazing hosts, amazing property....it is very beautiful! We loved the house, the facilities, the area as the kids could go for a sleigh ride. The hosts are wonderful people!they woke up early to unfreeze our car and also helped us when the battery died. They can also prepare nice breakfast!it's a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Shaman. The house is quite spacious, it has sauna and a jacuzzi. It’s perfect to stay with a group of friends. Pekka is an awesome host - we will repeat this place without doubts.

Best decision ever

From the minute we walked in the door it felt like home. It was bright, clean and in Christmas mode. Jacuzzi and sauna were clean and working. The area outside was large and safe for the kids to play in lots of snow. The hosts were available when we had a question or need, very friendly. This stay was one of the best decisions I made for this once in a lifetime trip. Easy drive to everything we needed, activities, groceries, restaurants, ect.

I honestly can't think of a thing. It was the perfect trip. Better than any hotel.

Lovely house in a good location for Santa village. Very friendly, helpful hosts.

The property was lovely and warm and well equipped for everything we needed to cook. Lots of beds and space. The hosts were always on hand for any questions we had.

We paid extra to use outdoor the hot tub with a few weeks notice and it felt slimy when we got in like it hadn’t been cleaned for us. So this was disappointing. For 6 people I think an additional toilet is needed.

La casa molto accogliente e ben riscaldata (con disponibilità di una sauna interna), la colazione molto ricca, gli esterni dove su richiesta ci hanno fatto un barbecue delizioso (assolutamente da provare il salmone), la disponibilità dell'host a farci da transfer a prezzi molto onesti, Netflix disponibile in TV.
