The price compared to even Premier Inns in the city centre and elsewhere. Location - buses every 10 minutes to and from centre. On route for buses to football stadia. Very clean and comfortable. Responsive and friendly owner.
We liked everything, but this is only somewhere to sleep. For breakfast there is a McDonald's opposite. We preferred to go to a local cafe on the corner of Balmoral Road. For evening meals there is a host of ethnic restaurants in Kensington. The Kurdish restaurant Mamaj is particularly good. There's a pub on the corner with live music.

Excellent location, plenty of shops and pubs without needing transport. Cheap public transport if you want to go to town etc.
It’s not that I didn’t like. A small fridge for cold drinks would be ideal, also a usb C point rather than USB would be nice as well.

The room was very well decorated, the shower had good pressure and hot water.
Towels clean
The host was super friendly and helpful.
Location was great
Great pub a couple of doors down
The mattress was dirty.
The tea and coffee cups had not been cleaned.
Despite being advertised multiple times as soundproof it was anything but, being on the first floor next to a bus stop I was happy to read it was soundproof but with every window fully locked shut the noise outside and throughout the facilities was very loud.
Definitely experienced worse but it was a let down.
