24 Catharine Street Hotel

The hotel/pub is in the heart of Liverpool’s Georgian district with lots of great things to see. The room was modern and clean. The staff in the bar were very friendly and the pub food was amazing.

We stayed during a mini heatwave and as our room was at the top of the building it was extremely hot in the room. The hotel did provide a small fan but I would recommend if the weather forecast is going to be hot then bring your own aswell. The bathroom is a wet room and unfortunately the water does not drain away very quickly and so the whole floor nearly floods. All the hotel needs to do is put a shower curtain that goes to the floor and problem solved.

Really nice owners who were really welcoming at the pub when we arrived and let us check in a bit early. Room was really clean and tidy, and plenty of nice facilities (coffee machine, iron, fan). Was nice to have a drop box for the key to check out whenever we were done. Also was good to have a side entrance for accommodation, so it wasnt like we were staying in a pub etc.

Would benefit from having a link to the pub for meals, eg a menu in the room and maybe a small discount. We would have been more likely to eat at the pub if we knew what was available. Not a downside, just a thought to help.

Nicely decorated, good hairdryer and fan which is important! Great staff, great location, wet room was fab, all very clean, very quiet in room, couldn’t fault it!! Would stay again!
