This split-level cottage-styled home decorated with an artists touch is perfectly located next to our bike and Nordic ski trails and a short walk to the town shuttle and restaurants. The large yard is nicely landscaped with a white picket fence surrounding the house as well as mature trees that add privacy to the outdoor hot tub, deck and BBQ grill. Relax under the summer sun in the comfortable deck furniture with a book or your morning coffee. Open the french doors from the deck and enter the great room, bright and lively with natural light and beautiful views. The open floor plan with hardwood floors, tiled kitchen, stone hearth with gas fireplace and beautiful furnishings is spacious and perfect for entertaining.
The second floor is carpeted with two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with elegant linens and vaulted ceilings. Its adjoining bathroom features a white tile vanity, a jet tub, steam shower and tiled floor. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a bathroom on the same level.
The private junior suite with a queen bed and a full bathroom is located on the first floor. Also on this floor is the fourth bedroom with two twins. The tiled mudroom offers space for jackets and shoes while the side yard is perfect for bike storage.
Perfectly located and private, The Bluebird Cottage offers pristine mountain views, river walks, and relaxing summer evenings to make your Crested Butte vacation full of unforgettable memories.
Please note that air conditioning is almost non-existent in Crested Butte. This property does not have AC.
This property allows a maximum of 8 guests and has private parking for 2 vehicles.
>> This home may allow ONE well-trained dog. Please inquire in advance for homeowner consideration. If approved, dogs are subject to a $50 per night fee and a signed pet agreement. Please note that the fence is not tall enough nor intended to be a place to secure an unattended dog.

Well! It was certainly one I've never experienced before. Due to some construction deadlines not quite making our stay time, we were moved from our beautiful "temporary" Bluebird COttage to a closeby location. Between the owner qand Crested Butte Property Management, we were able to stay just around the corner from our original spot. It was a smooth transition, and I am thankful for the quick adjustment BEFORE we arrived in CB.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at the Bluebird Cottage. This is, I think, our seventh year staying here, and we continue to feel like it is our home away from home. We are always excited to see this cottage each July, and we look forward to our next stay.

Well, cared for family home setting. Great kitchen appliances and utensils. All clad all the way. No issues at all. Fortunately adult kids were here and more tech savvy than I so TV. Not a problem….I alone could’ve used some more explicit instructions. All good though. We come to CB every year. This is a great place. Previous owner in Skyland so familiar with the area.
