Woodland Vacations Little Bear is a charming small home with a stunning view of Whiteface Mountain located in Wilmington, NY. This new construction vacation rental is minutes from Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. We provide a cozy rental near all the wonders of the Adirondacks. Little Bear is a two bedroom and one bath home. The first bedroom has a queen bed with access to shared balcony with the other bedroom, that has a stunning view of whiteface mountain and the sunset. You will be greeted by our two wooden bears on the railing with Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Our second bedroom has a queen bed with studding view of Whiteface mountain and the sunset. This bedrooms shares the same balcony as the other bedroom. The house has plenty of outlets for all your plug in needs. Little Bear accommodates 2-4 people comfortably but our convertible sofa can accommodate that additional smaller guest. The first floor has an open concept and allows the space to feel much larger. The kitchen is stocked with the basics and includes fridge, oven/range, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker to make a quick meal to enjoy there or on the go. The large window in the livingroom provides wonderful light and awesome views. The bathroom has good space and rustic charm to it with log stone sink. Our home is equiped with wireless internet. Little Bear is non-smoking and pet friendly. Each room has a flat screen tv's for your viewing pleasure. Each room includes air conditioning and is well heated for the winter. It is fully furnished by our own Woodcutter Rustic and Woodland Designs. You will find our tiny home has all the Adirondack charm throughout.
The Little Bear grounds is an open but wooded area. It has a great space for parking. Off the deck you will find a charcoal grill. In the middle of the property sits a large fire pit with Adirondack seating. There is a hot tub off the deck as well. You will not be disappointed in this relaxing atmosphere with stunning views.

The place was smaller than expected, but still a nice cozy cabin. Highlights were the hot tub and fire pit. There was a cute little beach, ice cream parlor, and chocolate shop just a short walk away. Definitely worth checking those places out! The walk was very easy and pedestrian-friendly as well. Overall, we had a very relaxing and fun time! Would definitely come back to visit the area again. Thank you for providing a welcoming stay for us!

Property was great! Everything you could ask for and the view from the balcony is great! Perfect distance to get to the area attractions Whiteface mtn. Lake Placid, Ausable Chasm. It was a great Vacation.

The cabin could be ideal if it weren’t located so close to a surprisingly heavily traveled road. The traffic noise was obnoxious.
There were some other easily resolved issues that should be attended to such as the missing screens for the front windows, the badly worn cookware, and the non functioning toaster. Install some closet bars to hang clothing , and mirrors in the bedrooms and some hooks in the bathroom for towels.
The space was not very clean especially the staircase which was covered in sandy grit.
We will not return.
