Pros- very private and quiet. Beautiful view from the living room and the main bedroom. Music system and lots of LP collections. Kitchen is convenient and well-equipped. Many spaces you can hang out. EV charger 👍Cons- sauna was out of order - I was informed ahead of time about it. The propane gas ran out in the middle of the BBQ. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would be back again.

If you’re looking for a tranquil mountain experience that offers high end amenities and is dog and family friendly, this is the perfect home, nestled at the front door to Whiteface Mountain and moments from any ADK adventure. Being Wisconsin flat landers, my family got the Adirondack experience we were hoping for with so much more. A spacious home throughout, fully stocked kitchen, whimsical features like several lofts and bunk beds, and luxurious features that really create a relaxing vacation getaway. You feel like the only people on the mountain in this wooded lot, yet situated a short, scenic drive from Lake Placid, Keene, Saranac Lake and other attractions. We had fun hiking some of the 6er Challenge (Baker, St. Regis, Haystack), so we have a reason to return and would love to stay at the Black Haus. Thank you for your lovely hospitality!

Our family enjoyed this home for our ski vacation. It is within a 8-10 minute drive to Whiteface. They have a mud room/ laundry room to store skis on wall clips. The washer and dryer was great for washing and drying ski gear. The sauna barrel was a nice touch as well. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was clean overall. We will return again when we come back to the area.
