Nice stay

The property was very clean. Its near the town. Really liked the viewof the river from the window. It was a nice touch having wine and milk on arrival. The bedding was comfortable. Liked the river under the building.

There is no access to the garden which is a shame. Its a old building. you can hear creaking when people upstairs walk around. It was only an issue 1 night when upstairs moved around for what seemed like hours. There is no parking on site. Parking on the street could be difficult at busy times

Very cosy and well located in the area with good management.

It was really cosy, in a good location to walk up into the town and well placed to drive out to other towns and villages. Owners were easily contactable. We had everything we needed for the stay including a bottle of wine.

There was no dedicated parking - street parking was fine though.

A beautiful location with the water around us. Close to the town centre so was an easy walk to town.

Everything was thought off with the extra touch of flowers and a bottle of wine adding to the magic.

Very nice place to stay

This is a very lovely studio apartment in a quiet location but only a few hundred metres from the main street in Burford. Beautifully appointed and parking in the street was usually easy- only had difficulty on Sunday when there were lots of tourists about.

Comfortable and cosy

The accommodation was comfortable and cosy.The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.It was immaculate throughout.The views were pleasant and it was in an ideal location as it was just a short walk to the High Street.Barry who owns the property was very helpful and hospitable. I definitely recommend this property.

Excellent facilities with hosts that go above and beyond.

Cider Press is a well presented apartment which fulfilled our requirements in every aspect. We self-catered most of the time and the kitchen met all of our catering needs. The whole apartment is spotless with good attention to detail. Tea, fresh ground coffee, sugar and a pint of milk are all provided to start your stay. The toiletries are of good quality too. The bed was comfortable, shower excellent, (how often when staying away do you have high water pressure, lots of hot water and plenty of room? This place had all three!) It is a short walk into town with many bars, restaurants, cafes etc and a coop for anything else you need. The apartments are very quiet and the shared courtyard is a great space to sit, and chill next to the weir with a nice glass of wine. We had a nice welcome from our hosts and the wine and flowers were a really appreciated touch too. Thank you Mandy and Barry!

Only difficulty is the road side parking but I suspect at a quieter time of year this would not be an issue.

Perfect location to explore the Cotswolds. The accommodation was excellent and the greetings from the owners was friendly and fully informative. A perfect retreat to enjoy a peaceful break.

A fabulous place to stay and enjoy Burford.

An incredible apartment in an amazing location. Hosts Barry and Mandy made us very welcome. Can't recommend staying at this fabulous apartment and listening to the river running underneath the drive way.

A delightful stay in the beautiful village of Burford

What a stunning apartment, I absolutely loved the sound of the water with the doors open on a sunny day. It had everything I needed and what a treat, a bottle of wine and fresh flowers with milk in the fridge. All the facilities were great and I slept so soundly, such a comfortable bed.

The only annoying thing was the creaky ceiling with neighbours upstairs which woke me a few times but certainly didn’t affect my stay too much.

Fabulous and Festive!

Beautiful property within a lovely easy short stroll into the centre of Burford. Beautifully decorated and appointed and some gorgeous Christmas decorations. Our host Barry was great and extremely welcome. Really warm and comfortable too.

Although in a beautifully quiet hamlet, we were disturbed through the night with movement and people walking in the flat upstairs. Maybe some soundproofing required?

Good location, comfortable studio

The location is quiet yet just a short walk away from the lively centre of the village with a nice selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. Even though it's a studio apartment, it feels bigger than it is due to its layout. The shower, bed and everything else are of good quality.

Nice, comfortable & compact appartment: a perfect base in beautiful Burford to visit the Cotswolds.

A compact appartment (studio) only 5 minutes walking from te centre of beautiful Burford. Good bed, good shower. A very good base to visit the Cotswolds. Fresh flowers and a bottle of wine to welkom us! Free parking on the main street, about 50m from the appartment. Nicely decorated room. Very friendly hosts. You can use the laundry room.

We could hear the neighbours in the apartment above walking because of the cracking floorboards. The constant sound (loud noise) of the waterfall. We were not enough prepared for that.

Top Notch Apartment.

The apartment was absolutely faultless, clean, bright, beautifully furnished and decorated. In an excellent location to enjoy all yhat Burford had to offer. The little balcony looking over the Mill stream was delightful and we would lovevto return in the summertime to enjoy looking out over the stream and watching for the birds. Plenty of cutlery, crockery, utensils and the kitchen was very well equipped in electrical goods too. The owner was most welcoming and left us an extremely thoughtful and very much appreciated welcome pack. Definitely recommend.

Amazing place to stay in the Cotswolds

Lovely little unit in a cute cottage in a very peaceful setting on the river. The bed was amazing and so comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Good wifi and TV connection, kitchen had everything we needed and the washing machine facilites were very helpful. Good location close to the town which had pubs and cafes and a co-op supermarket.

Wonderful place and host

The host is easy going and very helpful.

The room upstairs (Lime Tree), had other guests and sadly due to squeaky floors, the intermittent but load squeaky noise kept us from having a good night sleep.

A charming, peaceful oasis a short walk to the village centre.

The location was idyllic and yet so convenient, with easy parking on the street and a short walk into the village centre. The backyard view was completely unexpected, with a little Juliet balcony overlooking a small garden and the mill stream, upon which floated ducks and a swan! The bed was large and very comfortable. Linens, towels and furnishings were all high quality. Everything was clean and modern inside, while the exterior of the building had a quaint historic village charm. There was a bottle of wine provided as a welcome and the host (who lives upstairs) came to greet us and offer any assistance.

There were a lot of small flying ants and spiders in the bathroom when we arrived (the window had been left open). The amount of cobwebs under and behind the sink made me leery of putting my toiletries on the floor; however, the rest of the place was very clean. While the unit is fairly spacious overall, there was really nowhere to store our 2 large suitcases so we had to put them on the couch, which rendered it mostly unusable. Fortunately, there was also a comfy chair plus seating at the kitchen table. Be careful when closing the front door to the building. The handle you have to press is too close to the edge of the door and it's easy to pinch your fingers before you get the hang of it.
