Beautiful apartment and setting. Absolutely flawless until our final morning when we turned on the microwave to heat up coffee made in the Kuerig. This appeared to blow a breaker in a breaker box that we could not access and impacted the hot water access for the shower. Luckily this all happened on our last morning so a shower wasn’t necessary. We left a message with the care taker before we left regarding the situation and he said he would follow up.

I have stayed here several times over the years. It was awesome every time. There were issues with my health this time and my wife’s another and we had to cancel or change accommodations, they made it work for us. Thank you so much. We hope to plan a get away again within the next month and already know we will be back

Great communication, easy check in process. Everything is well explained. Very modern and clean. Best shower I have ever used in a hotel/ house. Loved it!! Has a small fridge and no stove/oven but has a great toaster oven , toaster and griddle. Has a K- cup machine and a few pods. Plenty of TP and paper towel. We bought our propane fire pit and sat in the private area in from of the apartment. Has some lawn furniture And we even caught a few Trout and Bass. No complaints. Would stay again.

Just a couple of things that could be improved. The bathroom curtains should be taller/higher. Standing on the tops steps outside, if someone was taking a shower I could see them. You did mention there maybe noise if there were people in the main house and yes there was noise but it was a little louder than expected. We did notice some dry blood behind the bathroom door next to the door knob but we wiped it off. That kind of stuff shouldn't get missed. Over all it is a beautiful place, location and setting. Thanks for letting us stay.

We had a great weekend in this apartment. It is the smallest of three rentals on the same property, in addition to a main house and a guest house. The apartment felt private despite being attached to the main house, and we had gorgeous lake views. The apartment has modern furnishings and is super clean. The property manager was very communicative and helped us with SUP rentals and any concerns we had. We would definitely stay here again! Note that (as advertised) this apartment is not really set up for cooking - it just has a kitchenette with a microwave and electric griddle. Suited us fine, as we were expecting this.

This apartment was great. It has a beautiful view of Floras Lake. We kayak on the lake and overall had a great time. The location is great. During these times it was great to have a safe, beautiful place to escape and enjoy ourselves.

Absolutely beautiful location and property! The apartment is remodeled with extra nice touches! I don’t remember if the listing mentions this but there are a few deep steps that must be navigated going down from parking area/lawn to front door. No big deal for us, but could be an obstacle for some guests. Also it’s a kitchenette.

The only issue we had was you couldn’t really cook big meals because all you have is a little toaster oven and a microwave. They do have a BBQ but you have to rent it. Also the fridge was really small so you couldn’t store very much food. Other then that the place was amazing and we’ve already recommended it to friends and family.

Had a lovely family vacation at the Lake Floras house. We opted to rent both the main house and apartment in order to give my Uncle some private space away from the rest of the family. He found the apartment to be perfect and thoroughly enjoyed his stay.

The apartment is a little small but adequate for 4 people who are ok to sleep in the same bedroom. Everything was new and the place was very clean. Kitchen area space was limited however we managed cooking breakfast for 4 easily. Although it is part of a larger property we felt there was plenary of privacy for the group. We would definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful spot with direct lake access! Extremely peaceful and the view couldnt be beat. No stove, however microwave and fridge suited our needs for a short stay. Note that the property is part of a larger house, though we didn't have any issues with people living above us. Would definitely return in the future if were ever in the area.

One of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever booked! Inside is fine, fairly priced and as expected. The outside amenities were so wonderful!! The view from the deck is amazing. We spent so much time relaxing out there. We also rented the two-person kayak and had some fun out on the lake. Lastly, great customer service from both of the co-hosts and the new housekeeper. We will be back!

We stayed here for a few nights in between extended camping stays. The cozy, clean and modern little apartment was perfect for what we needed and wanted! We went into Port Orford and rode bikes along one of the Scenic Bikeways, picked up dinner to go at one of the small shops and took it back to the apartment to bake in the toaster oven. The kitchenette was exactly as described, with just the essentials - no cooktop, but there's a toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle and refrigerator. We inadvertantly set off the fire alarm, which is located directly above the kitchen counter and the warmth from both the toaster and the toaster oven was enough to cause the alarm (though nothing burning and no smoke). There are others staying on the same property in this complex, it was easy to maintain privacy from each other, but when we saw people in the parking area everyone was friendly and chatty. We found out once there that Floras Lake is a destination for kite surfing, wind surfing and other similar wind sports because of the strong winds that come in from the ocean. We walked down and enjoyed watching these amazing athletes ...but kayaking and paddle boarding are things I"d recommend doing early (early!) in the morning before winds kick up (at least that was our experience). Great location for a couple of friends to get away!
