Ambience Dubrovnik

The place is really close to beach, promenade, bus stop, an so on. It is nice and big enough for to people. The apartment was super clean. Our host was very kind and helpful.

Great choice of apartment! Lorenco was so helpful with any information we needed. He offered a pickup from the airport, which was great because the shuttle bus from the airport doesn’t stop near the apartment so it would have been more buses or taxis. The apartment is located right on the no. 6 bus route to the old town (bus gets really busy so don’t expect to always get on first time, best build extra time in for this). Hyper market and bakery within 5 minute walk. Loads of places to eat and drink in the vicinity. The apartment was spotless, all we needed for a 4 night stay was there. Great little patio area that served the two downstairs apartments, where we could eat breakfast.

The property was located near the Lapad promenade, where there are plenty of restaurants and beautiful views of the sea/beach.

The walls in the bedroom are paper thin. My boyfriend and I got noise complaints from other guests (according to the property manager). We were simply laughing in bed and having a nice time and did not think we were being loud, until we heard one of the guests next door sneeze the next morning… It then made sense. There were ants crawling everywhere (it happens but still an issue that should be taken care of). Every time we left the apartment, someone would come in our room and shut the air conditioner off. This is an amenity that is included in the booking of this property and we should have the control over its temperature and functionality during the time of our stay. I definitely consider this an invasion of privacy considering there was a sign we could hand up on the door WHEN we needed housekeeping to come change towels or empty the garbage. We never hung up this sign on the door and still housekeeping would come inside. Another amenity we had was an oven, but there was no baking tray for the oven which basically meant we could not use the oven.
