Easy parking and spacious flat near Metz

The apartment is very well presented and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, bedroom comfortable and everything was very clean. This was an overnight stay heading back to Calais. The flat was in a good location near motorways, ALDI is super handy across the road and it was an easy and pleasant walk into Metz. The parking is very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Check in procedures. We were asked for passport details and a deposit of 100 Euro 24hrs before our stay. The host wanted these via external links and not through the booking.com platform. We had to contact customer services at booking.com to resolve this (who were excellent) however it was very stressful the day before when we didn't know if we would have access to the property. Access to the property is via an international phone call if you are coming from outside France. If the host improves deposit management and check in we would give this property 8/10

Quietly located apartment on the ground floor just outside the center, 10 minutes by bike from the center. Very good bed!

Lovely apartment nice layout. We felt safe as a family.

It was clean and welcoming. Everything was easy to find, the host was very helpful in giving instructions.

The bed linen, there were cushions instead of pillows, which had an awful odour. New pillows, and pillow protectors are needed.

The apartment is really great, you have all you need for long-term and short-term stay The sound isolation is amazing, and you feel that you live alone in the building From the windows you can see an amazing garden, where you can also have a walk

There is no door for the shower cabin, so every time you have a flood in the bathroom when you take a shower

Good value for price

We were fully happy with our choice of stay. The apartment is specious and very comfortable for anyone travelling with family or kids. The location is not the trendy part of town indeed, but instead you have a lot of space and peaceful neighborhood, groceries' shop (ALDI) just across the street, plus a playground for younger kids around a corner. City center can be reached easily on foot (will take approx. 10 min).

Great space, and amazing host for a short or extended stay in Metz.

The parking was close and many spaces available. The kitchen has some basic pantry ingredients for cooking that was very helpful too.

The beds were a little firm for our liking; however that was a minor issue. If available, more pods for the coffee maker would be nice.

Perfect place for family stopover

The place was very clean. Bakery and supermarket(s) at walking distance. Sicilian pizza place that does delivery nearby. Perfect for a stopover to further south in France.

The mattress is a bit softer than that we are used to, but that's of course a personal preference.

very clean apartment, very friendly host and easy instructions for self check-in and self-check out Parking slot in front of the building. Good for a short stay

The walls are not really sound proof, you may hear the neighbors if they talk in the corridor but it really didn't bother us. We missed a little bit small towels for hands/face in the bathroom (only big bath towels were available)

it was a fully furnished apartment, inasmuch it was comfortable.

where it was geographically placed. could not find it for well over an hour. it was a surprise to find it on a big estate complex.

Superb

The appartement is very nice and comfortabel for a family of 4. We also noticed that the owner listened to previous reviews and improved the appartement accordingly (like number of toilet rolls for example). Supermarket on the other side of the road and even a small playground in the neighborhood.

Good stay after check-in challenges

The location was convenient to our activity in Metz as we were brought to and from the apartment by friends we were visiting. The apartment was of a good size, with a full kitchen and sitting area in addition to the large bedroom.

This is not a hotel room but an apartment in a residential complex with an absentee owner. What one must do is come to the main door of the building it is in and call the number given on the printed reservation for further instructions. Since the number is located in Luxembourg and my "burner" phone only worked for local dialing in France, my friend needed to make that call on his phone. His first attempt returned a "leave a message" response. Another building resident trusted us and let us in the main door. Once inside, a second call to the Luxembourg number succeeded and we were able to get the code for the lock box.

Pleasant stay

Location is good when you have a car, not far from city center. Property is clean and cozy, well equipped.

During nights, it was fresh in the apartment. It would be great to have two electric radiators, i.e. one for living room and one for bedroom. Also, for foreigners it’s worth to mention that everything is closed on Sunday, so if you need food or anything from a supermarket, most likely you won’t succeed 😊

Agréable.

Appartement au RDC spacieux et bien équipé, salon avec table à manger, chaises et canapé, TV. Cuisine avec lave vaisselle et lave linge, 2 plaques à induction et un frigo, bouilloire, machine à café et grille pain, beaucoup de vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine. Literie confortable et draps agréables en coton, prévoir un oreiller si vous êtes, comme moi, une « princesse aux petits pois » sensible, ceux sur place sont un peu fatigués. Salle d’eau optimisé, douche avec jet puissant et eau chaude, température réglable facilement. Patères face à la douche utilisables malgré la proximité avec le receveur. Wc séparés, donc plus pratiques.

Il manque un meuble pour ranger les vêtements.

Die Unterkunft war okay, nur leider nicht so sauber. Die Lage ist gut. Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür

Das schlimmste für mich war die Nachricht von dem Vermieter einen Tag vor der Anreise, daß ich auf einmal 250 € Kaution zahlen muss, obwohl es nicht in der Beschreibung steht , das hat mir richtig stress gemacht. Booking.com hat mir auch bestätigt dass keine Kaution für die Unterkunft eingetragen ist. Meine Laune hat es eindeutig verdorben. Schade.

Kritisch war die Information bezüglich Zugang zum Haus. Gott sei Dank kam ein Bewohner. Der Zugang zur Wohnung war perfekt.

Grundsätzlich war die Idee der Wohnung zu Beginn sicherlich einmal sehr gut. Momentan war gut: Warmes Wasser, gute Parkplatzsituation, Ausblick in den Garten, das große Bett.

Der Zustand war bis auf Toilette und Bad eher desolat und schmutzig! Wir versuchten das zu reklamieren, ging darauf aber nicht ein. Einzig zwei Handtücher wurden einen Tag später noch nachgeliefert, das notwendigste war dann da. Negativ war: - Gefrierfach siffig - geöffnete Lebensmittel in der Küche - Wasser im Kaffeemaschine (wer weiß, wie lange), beim Gerät selbst fehlten Teile des Auffangbehälters - Kleiner Staubsauger voll mit Schmutz - Dunstabzugshaube völlig mit Fett verklebt, schlechter Geruch - leichter Geruch nach kaltem Rauch in gesamter Wohnung - Auf Sessel eklige Flecken und Krümel - auf dem Fußboden etliche Krümel (schlecht gereinigt) - Backofen völlig verdreckt - Geschirr und Besteck fleckig und klebrig, mussten wiralles reinigen vor dem Benutzen - Licht (Lichtleiste) in Küche geht nicht aus - TV war nicht nutzbar (Sender nicht gefunden) - Fernbedienungen Wohnzimmer/Küche: Batterien leer - Fenster komplett ungereinigt (womöglich noch nie geputzt worden) - Nachttische völlig verstaubt - Stecker vom Nachtlicht links passt nicht in Steckdose - insgesamt völlig abgewohnt und in desolatem Zustand - Deckenlampen hängen lose, locker schräg, Steckdosen zum Teil von der Wand gelöst - Jalousie in Küche defekt - Griffmulde Küchenschrank völlig verdreck/verklebt mit Fett …
