About this house rental
Enjoy our spacious open concept home with a great outdoor living space that opens up fully to a lanai overlooking the Matlacha Aquatic Preserve. Wildlife abounds including a vast array of birds, fish and even dolphins and the occasional manatee! If you love to boat or fish, this is your place.
The house is equipped with a 12,000 lb lift with Gem remote, floating kayak dock, ample dock space for fishing right off the dock and even a fish cleaning station. If that's not enough, hop in the heated salt water pool for a refreshing swim or for the cooler nights and mornings take a relaxing dip in the hot tub.
This home is truly an Island Oasis and only a 10 minute walk to downtown Matlacha where you can take in the view at a number of great dockside dining establishments, visit the Matlacha Bridge (known as the World's Fishingest Bridge) or take a stroll and visit the many great downtown shops. There's even a fudge shop and ice cream store!
This home is equipped with outdoor surveillance for your protection (ring doorbell at the front of the home and a ring floodlight cam at the rear of the home).

We had a perfect vacation in Matlacha . This home is absolutely recommended for those who love sunset views , nature , quiet neighborhood and lots of amenities . Kajak, bicycles , even a table tennis board , boat lift and so much more. In case of small problems response within minutes from the Jeanice ! Thank you for your good job Jeanice and Erick .

"Island Oasis" is a magical place. Love Love Love this home!! We spent 2 weeks enjoying the perfect weather..sunning, swimming, relaxing, watching fish jumping, ospreys building nests, dolphins swimming by..never a dull moment. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated..all photo's are accurate. You will not want for anything. The lanai is perfect for watching gorgeous sunsets..overall a great space for everything. Matlacha is so cute and great to explore..adorable shops and Island Seafood is the best for fresh fish, shrimp and crab cakes. We would love to return but, sadly already booked. Jeanice and Erick, Thank you for sharing your home..cherished memories were made here!!

We loved our stay in Matlacha! Was so peaceful and quiet yet close enough to shops and restaurants. The house was beautiful and the owners responded promptly to questions. Would definitely come back to stay here again.

The property is just as described! Jeanice checked in regularly in case we needed anything! - we didn’t! Everything was there. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable home. Most of our time was spent on the lanai! Mornings with coffee and tea and evenings with beer and wine. You are looking right at a nature preserve and it was great to watch the variety of birds, the jumping mullets and the dolphins. The pool is great! Perfect temperature and very clean. We enjoyed easing tired muscles in the hot tub. Matlacha is a busy, funky town and the neighborhood is bustling but the minute you head to the lanai you feel very private. Quiet except for the occasional kayaker going by. Will definitely return!
