They cancelled my reservation at the last minute.

Booked far in advance and a last minute cancelation without telling me why.

Good location. Very clean area.

The location is great with all the services needed within a two minute walk. The house is spacious and the bedrooms really are lovely. Private parking useful considering how busy the street parking is.

In terms of the house itself, there are multiple entrances to each bathroom from different bedrooms, as if they are shared ensuites! It was weird. There's also really not enough seating for groups of more than 3. We weren't provided with the code for the private parking until we specifically requested it, and there's no back door key for easy car access after that. The property is managed by a letting agent, not a private owner, and that shows in the little problems. Nobody had organised garden maintenance so it was too full of nettles and weeds to be useful. Nobody had organised a proper unplugging of the top shower - we were ankle deep in water each time. Nobody had cleaned up broken glass and old cigarettes from the garden, or a knuckle duster under the sofa. Nobody had noticed that there are only 2 forks in a house for 8 people or that there were several broken light bulbs. We received a lot of automated messages from the letting agent, including lots of terse block capital warnings, but when we actually needed to contact them about access to the parking, we got an out of office and another terse warning that non emergency questions would be chargeable!

Multiple story building - Three floors so plenty of space to walk around including an open back garden, bedrooms were nicely presented and had a fair amount of space to each of them, all of them were double beds.

Pictures presented on Website didn't exactly match what we saw on arrival, such as missing carpets or other small pieces of furniture to enhance the aesthetic. Found the shared bathrooms and limited amount of hot water slightly inconvenient, especially with a bunch of us rushing to get ready for a wedding in the morning! However, nothing to ruin the experience I had overall.

Location was great with a park and shops locally. Easy to collect keys with a key safe

The house slept upto 8 guests however only had 3 cups, 1 sofa and the garden was overgrown.

Location is good for local shops and the shopping centre nearby. Nice area for walking around the parks and ponds.

This is the most disgustingly dirty holiday rental that I have ever seen. The whole place smelled like dogs, to the point I was gagging, and there was dog hair everywhere. We had to clean everything on the ground floor just to be able to use it at all, this includes up the walls as the whole place was filthy. Complete vacuum, mop and all furniture cleaned. There wasn't a surface that was clean. The kitchen cupboards had food crumbs in them and the blinds in the kitchen were so dirty they are a health hazard. The freezer was so blocked with ice only one section is usable. Every item in the kitchen needed cleaning to be able to use it. Despite the amount of people the house sleeps there was very minimal kitchen/dining equipment. The garden was not usable, with very long grass and a broken bin, a bike and wire racks. Upon bathing my grandson in the middle floor bathroom I found long dark hair everywhere. None of us have long dark hair. The sofa has broken springs and is not comfortable at all. We spent several hours cleaning after a 38 hour journey. It was not acceptable and we would not have slept there if we had any other option. The pictures on booking.com DO NOT represent this accommodation and are false advertising. This literally ruined the start of our holiday. I was so upset, as were the rest of my family. The below statement regarding cleaning and presentation is an absolute lie. Instructions regarding check in times - 'PLEASE TAKE THESE TIMINGS AS STRICT, AS THIS WILL ENSURE THE ACCOMMODATION IS FULLY CLEANED AND EXCELLENTLY PRESENTED FOR YOUR STAY, FOLLOWING PREVIOUS GUESTS VACATING.' I got no response to my complaint and then messaged again with 'no response?' Then I received the following only: 'Im sorry you feel this way, please feel free to cancel your stay.' Just appalling all round!
