Arena Convenient 2 Bedroom

It’s in a great location and you have everything you need for your stay. I love that there is a full kitchen and laundry in the apartment and there is a Cole’s supermarket with in a 5 minute walk. We stayed in and cooked some nights with in our stay, great way to save a few dollars.

The fact you had to collect the keys from across the other side of the river where there is very little parking and when you’re not familiar with the area it can become a little overwhelming.

The location was perfect for where we had a go and be.

The unit was excellent facilities we great what we required and worked to our needs, neat and tidy.

Easy walk to restaurant

From beginning to end having to communicate with the host which became extremely stressful . The “vetting “ process from credit check to taking a photo of yourself and sending it. The key pick up address was over the river, where we would have to uber.could not pick up keys till 3pm even although multiple requests were made as qe had a booked kunch ag 12 md. I explained issue to host, Key pick up changed to 2k away 6pm the evening before. Deposit $300 on credit card had to be verified again by host or “booking cancelled “ only 24 hours before hand. . No one had a car. Host agreed to let us pick up key from her “manager” at property where we met in the street for 2 minutes and was charged $50 extra! This was taken from my deposit! Asked to drop off keys over river by 10 am check out but left keys in flat when host finally agreed. Had 2 texts whilst in unit reminding us of check out time, key pick up and noise rules!! Had to “request” use of pull down sofa fir extra linen. Was told deposit would be withheld till unit inspected then money released. This took four days. I have never had to verify, text, explain myself , prove my identity on bookings.com and at one point was going to cancel booking due to the hosts numerous requests. We were a group of 4 , 60 year old women on a weekend away for a birthday not a group of schoolies who had to be checked and reminded to be quiet and asked NOT to dirty white towels with makeup or fake tan or anything that would mark them! For this unit the key cist needs to be included and the pre checks need tk be rectified. as I said NEVER before have I had to do this on any booking forum.

The location is excellent but the check in was not very convenient as the pick up for the key is 15 minutes taxi ride from the property. I was sent a lot of information three days prior to check in and I missed the very important information that the location for the key pick up was far from the actual location. It could have been highlighted as this is a booking.com property and not an Airbnb. We thought there would be a reception there but actually the reception located there is not for this actual property. Was a little information overload and it was easy to have missed some details. As a booking.com client I am not used to reading so much information. That’s more Airbnb I’d say.
