This was a great find! Only 30-40 minutes from Ljubliana but fully immersed in the countryside. When you arrive, you are met by the wonderful Katarina who is full of useful information and kindness. She is very helpful showing you around the monestry and making suggestions for your visit to the region. She is a fonte of knowledge. Our bedroom with private bathroom were under the roof so they were quite compact. However, we enjoyed all the space in the monestry and outdoors in the garden. In particular, we enjoyed collecting ripe fruit from the trees there. The breakfast is really good, with plenty of variety and freshness. The cook and the eggs she prepares are famous! The location is ideal for visiting the historical town of Kamnik (a 15 minute walk) and exploring the Velika planina and Kamnik Bistrica valley. The shared kitchen was large and well equipped. It was great value for money.

We would like to have stayed longer!

The rooms were spotless, and the showers hot and powerful. Refreshing after a day out. An easy walk to Kamnik. Place is really quiet and peaceful. Kitchen was clean and tidy.

There are lots of gates and doors to lock and unlock. Apart from that nothing else.

breakfast was good and the lady who cooked very kind. The place is wonderful.

When we arrived there wasn't anyone, so we called up and the staff told us to wait 45 minutes, beacuse other guests would be arrive later. The absence of the bathroom is a great drawback in a similar, beautiful structure
